Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a lovely one night stay at Innisfree Cottage. We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom, both were very comfortable and clean with tea and coffee making facilities and bath robes for the very short walk across the landing. The breakfast was freshly made to order and was delicious! We can't fault this lovely B and B.

This is a lovely, cosy place to stay in the village of Eyam and well placed for travelling in the Peak District. It only has two rooms - we had the room with the separate, private bathroom. It was very clean and homely, with lots of personal touches. Despite being small, the breakfast choice was excellent and freshly cooked to order. The host was helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

We could not fault the accommodation. Our bedroom had everything we required. Our bathroom was not ensuite, but bathrobes were provided and the bathroom was perfect. The accommodation was spotless and in good order. Good choice for breakfast, and the owners, Pauline and Trevor were most welcoming. There is off street parking and a separate entrance to the accommodation. All this in a beautiful, fascinating and peaceful village. It made an ideal spot for our short stopover on our way home from the Lake District to West Sussex in order to visit the nearby Chatsworth House. Would stay at Innisfree again and recommend it and hopefully the weather will be better next time!

A very warm welcome awaits you in this quiet corner of the village of Eyam. Marvellous views of the surrounding hills and only a few minutes walk to the centre of the village. An excellent breakfast with some original touches.

We stayed here for my 40th birthday after a long day hiking across the whole of Eyam Moor. The location was easily found and we were greeted with a warm welcome. Everything we needed was in hand and the breakfast made our stay, the best omelette I have ever had. Highly recommended all round.

Perfect B&B in a great location, quality breakfast with a twist on the standard. Didn't know Eyam previously but it's ideal as a base for hiking in the peaks with a number of walks beginning in the village. A few shops and pubs to go with the great accommodation!

I booked a double room at quite short notice to have a quick one day getaway for my husband’s birthday. The upstairs double room with private bathroom just down the corridor - robes are thoughtfully provided - is very cosy and the bed is very comfortable. There’s a great pub in Foolow about a mile away which does amazing food. We would have walked there if it hadn’t been snowing and freezing cold! The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming - thank you Trevor for helping to clear the car of snow in the morning! Looks like a great location to return to in better weather.
