We stayed for one evening on our way to Ireland. We were lucky to enjoy the lovely early summer weather to admire the views of Snowdonia, sitting outside on the terrace, enjoying a drink and fabulous home made scones after a 5 hour drive. This set the tone for a great, albeit short, overnight break here. Relaxing, elegant, friendly and...

From the moment our party of six arrived Peter made us feel at ease and genuinely welcome; the complimentary afternoon tea/coffee and cake in the warm and elegant sitting room was lovely and very comfortable. All three of the rooms we used were really outstanding, very attractive with a great deal of attention to detail and a lot of little...

Our boat from Dublin to Holyhead was cancelled due to bad weather. We were forced to cancel this hotel (Neuadd Lwyd) the day before arrival. We knew we would lose the £50 deposit and possibly more for the room. We were charged the full £240, which included dinner for two. I understand they reserve the right to charge the full...

Far from being harsh, our cancellation policy is transparent, explicit and designed to help both you and ourselves to minimise financial loss from the unforseen necessity to cancel. On the Availability and Contact page of our web-site,and in the confirmation details for all bookings, it clearly states that we reserve the right to charge 100% of the full rate if...

A warm welcome is followed by viewing your rooms, which do not disappoint. Tea and Bara Brith in the drawing room, then time to relax in the slipper bath before dinner. A comprehensive drinks menu gives you much choice at a reasonable price. Dinner is quite excellent - a brief description of what you are eating mainly home made by...

Despite being a trifle difficult to locate after a 5 hour drive, and the deadline for dinner looming, this is a true gem. The setting is fantastic, even better I am told when one can see the mountains of Snowdonia. The rooms are large, comfortable, and well equipped, even books and mags worth reading! The food is great and the...

Our Honeymoon was great here. We stayed in the Olwyn room and it was very spacious. The bathroom was very nice. However a re- stock of Molton Brown products should have been automatic on our second night. Rather embarrasing having to ask for more. Home made biscuits in the room are very tasty and it is these small touches that...

What a gem! We were looking for a quiet luxurious place to spend a few days – and this is a winner. Its website gives a good impression of what to expect. The rooms to start are perfect - spacious, well furnished (mainly Laura Ashley) and immaculately decorated. The bed was large and covered in thick cotton sheets with perhaps...

My wife & I stayed at Neuadd Lwyd for 4 nights at the end of February 07 and this very special place exceeded all our expectations. Wonderful House & location, luxury accommodation, exceptional food and the most delightful hands-on hosts Susannah & Peter together with the charming Delyth. ( Delyth's welsh cakes were the best ever ! ) Neuadd Lwyd...

What a fantastic experience! This converted rectory is absolutely beautiful with views of Snowdonia from the bedroom and dining room. The proprietors, Susannah and Peter, were warm and very hospitable and the cusine was superb- a real foodie's treat. All locally sourced, seasonal dishes, cooked by Susannah and friend Delyth, who are both formally trained. We stayed in the "Edmund"...

We stayed at Neuadd Lwyd for two nights in the Owain Room, which is a lovely, spacious room with king size bed and superb, uninterrupted views across Anglesey from one window and over to Snowdonia from the other. The room is stylish and comfortable and everything was spotless. A major feature of the room was the huge bathroom complete with...
