We would like to welcome you to a step back in time to how the house would have been in the time of John Smith, founder of Cragganmore Distillery and former owner of Cragganmore House. With quality and comfort in mind but in the Victorian style. Convenient for many outdoor activities, walking, fishing, cycling, shooting and skiing.

Tony and Helen still keep up the excellent hospitality here. A delight to come back to year on year . The food delicious as always from the pre dinner canapés to the home grown scrambled eggs for breakfast. Gluten free bread on request. Back next year for sure .

Having completed the Speyside Way from Craigellachie to Ballandalloch we arrived weary and footsore at Cragganmore House - first impressions wow - As i went up the drive I thought should we be using the servants entrance !! We were greeted by a nervous guinea fowl on the driveway then rang the bell to be greeted by Helen and Tony - a lovely couple very welcoming -a home from home . This property was once the home of John Smith the owner/founder of Cragganmore Distillery which is next door -we had the privilege of staying in his room Helen and Tony have put their heart and soul and a lot of hard work in to maintaining this house in it's former glory - very impressive The food was Michelin star level and Helen and Tony are wonderful hosts I thoroughly recommend this amazing B and B to any with an appreciation of excellent food , preserving beautiful buildings and looking for a home from home Thank you Helen and Tony we will be back and I will recommend Cragganmore House B and B to my colleagues and friends Good luck Stay safe and hope all is well Rod and Sylvia Edwards

Like others we found this lovely house courtesy of the Speyside Way. It is a good few minutes walk from Ballindalloch station on the Way, but worth it. The house was built for the Distillery manager and has been lovingly restored and filled with contemporary furniture. It looks like the 19th century home of a Scottish family. We also booked dinner here and like in other reviews found the meal exceptional. Pick up a bottle of wine on the way though as this is not provided. Breakfast the next day was also lovely. We stayed in the turret room and didn’t see the others, but the huge Victorian bath in the en suite was fabulous after a couple of days walking in the rain. We loved sitting in the turret drinking hot chocolate watching the rabbits on the lawn. Helen and Tony were great fun as hosts, and very kindly helped us out when our transport plans failed. Thanks again Tony.

The place to stay in Banffshire. A B&B in the heart of the Whisky trail with Gourmet food, log fires and roll top baths next door to one of Speyside’s smallest and finest distilleries. Helen and Tony run a welcoming, homely place and the meals are superb. We enjoyed the tenderest venison medallions followed by sublime whisky and dark chocolate mousse. They unsurprisingly also cater for shooting parties and the many nearby distilleries. You need to bring your own alcohol, though it will be chilled/ left to breathe for you and served. We regretted only booking one night.
