We would like to welcome you to a step back in time to how the house would have been in the time of John Smith, founder of Cragganmore Distillery and former owner of Cragganmore House. With quality and comfort in mind but in the Victorian style. Convenient for many outdoor activities, walking, fishing, cycling, shooting and skiing.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very comfortable and cozy home out in the beautiful countryside. Helen and Tony are wonderful hosts. Tony is a magnificent chef, and we had some truly memorable meals that made us feel as if we were dining in a Michelin star restaurant. Helen was a gracious hostess who anticipated our every need. We look forward to a return visit

Little did I realise when planning my Speyside Walk that Cragganmore guest house would be such a treat. The house and hosts were charm itself and entering the place was like stepping back in time with the fixtures and fittings making a great impact. And the food - top quality and better than most restaurants I've visited. One night is not enough.

A great welcome as always from Helen and Tony. We were lucky to get Turret Bedroom for a special night away. Dinner was delicious from the amuse bouche to start to the varied cheese board to finish. Breakfast set us up for the following day. Hope to be back later in the year .

What a nice place to stay and branch out from! We stayed for two nights at the Cragganmore and really enjoyed the food and our hosts. The house is very well appointed with a large comfortable sitting room which promoted many after dinner conversations among guests. The food is spectacular and often includes local meats and game. Our purpose for being at the Cragganmore was as part of a whisky tour but others staying there come for hunting and/or fishing. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cragganmore!

My son and I spent 3 nights here in July 2022. It is an absolutely lovely location with a great hilltop view of the surrounding hills. Very close to the River Spey, which is lovely to look at and for fishing as well. There is a great walking path near the river as well which one can take long distances. The house is right next to the Cragganmore distillery. The house is beautifully adorned with many beautiful rugs and beautiful wood in the dining room. There is also a lovely library that is chock full of whisky books and whisky history, which hit the mark for us. We had tea and biscuits in the library the first day we arrived and it was special. Helen was a wonderful host, and her husband is a french-trained chef and does all the cooking. We had wonderful full English breakfasts two days, and just cereal and fruit the other day (they will give you only the items you ask for so as not to waste), and we had dinner the first night. They will cook a fine french dinner for you every night if you don't want to go out. All the food was wonderful. We loved this place and would definitely go again on a return visit.

This is a fascinating house, with a rich history. It serves as a very comfortable B&B but more than that the owners serve one of the BEST meals I have ever had anywhere in the world. Staying here was a real joy!

A beautiful home & a warm welcome from Tony & Helen. Wet weather gear removed & hung up to dry we went to our spacious & comfy rooms to choose our evening meal. Dinner was excellent finished off with coffee in the drawing room. Breakfast was also excellent, good selection & cooked to a very high standard.

Great to be enjoying the food and friendly welcome at Cragganmore after the months of being kept away due to the pandemic. Food fabulous as usual. Nothing too much trouble to Tony and Helen. Hope to be back later this year.
