Stayed for 5 nights with a private pool. The room was cosy and well-maintained. I must add that the smell of the room is so soothing each time we return from breakfast and after the room was cleaned. Divine. Breakfast was pretty well made, with the exception of some of the food items not available or some ingredients missing from...

Stayed for 3 nights, didn't spend too much time at the resort due to a wedding and family commitments to attend. We enjoyed our stay, had a great view from our balcony and the room had everything you require. The shower was difficult to adjust the water to the correct temperature. Whilst we were there the pool was a greenish...

Elements is a lovely place, but better suited for retreat programmes (Orion is based there), than for beach gateways. Here are some really good things: - The place is fairly small and cosy, located in a remote part of the island; you will see no crowds there. It will suit individuals and couples. It is also very beautiful - lush...

Stayed in the main apartments Garden Room. Needs some refurbishment especially the bathroom, shower wouldn't work properly and couldn't run a bath. I stay in many Hotels in Asia and it was not one of the better ones. It is very quiet and peaceful though. Restaurants ok but not spectacular. Pool apartments may be better not sure.

I needed a week away, time to rest and relax. This resort is far away from the busy Chaweng beach (approximately 45min drive) and the deluxe room had a distant view over the ocean. The room is spacious, there is a kettle and coffee filter machine as well as a mini bar. More than enough cupboard space for 2 (or...

We decided to stay at Elements Boutique Resort for my wife's birthday. We were met a reception by The Manager, Chris. His enthusiasm for his role is infectious and he promptly showed us to our room. The room was great and we were soon relaxing in our small, private pool. Lovely. We dined at the Resorts Restaurant and we were...

We spent 3 nights here after finishing yoga teacher training at Samahita. We prefer to start our vacation with peace and tranquility and choose to stay with Elements. The General Manager, Chris welcome us and lead us all the way in the resort introducing the amenities. The room is spacious and as seen on screen. Our room is a deluxe...

This is an amazing and relaxing resort. I spent a week here as part of a retreat. The staff was attentive and friendly, my room was gorgeous with awesome air conditioning. The restaurant was delicious and the gym was well maintained. I went in the pool once and can't say much more about it. It is nice to sit beside...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to Elements boutique resort and spa hide-away - our small, secluded, privately owned and run resort where we always put you first. You worked hard for this holiday. Let us help you enjoy it. Visit the real Samui. Elements hide-away is nestled in a lovely, isolated, nature marine reserve in the secluded virgin coast on the south west of the island of Koh Samui. Our low rise resort blends naturally into the native environment. Uninterrupted views of the tidal lagoon melt seamlessly with our infinity pool and beach area. But be warned, if you read our very worst Trip Advisor reviews you will quickly see that we have some faults. Apart from the weather which affects the whole of Asia! There are no huge shopping malls just around the corner, just as there are no loud disco nor karaoke bars. There are no jet skis or speed boats buzzing the beach, just the sound of the birds on the wind. There are no beach vendors selling you unwanted trinkets and beads. Only our staff offering chilled refreshments when you call. A book being dropped onto the sand or the trade winds beating up the coconut fronds may be the loudest thing you hear all day. The health (wellness) is addictive and so is the spa. The location is too romantic and the food is to die for. The staff smile too much and you may be seduced into doing less for longer time periods each day. A pampering experience of body massage and beauty treatments awaits at the spa. Guests may also look forward to enjoying the well-equipped fitness centre, free use of mountain bikes and free use of kayaks. The hotel offers free meditation classes and morning yoga lessons most days of the week. Only the finest ingredients are used to prepare the delicious Thai cuisine served at Bamboo Beach Cafe, while Mediterranean and other Asian favourites as well a wide selection of skilfully prepared cocktails can be enjoyed at Fai Dining. So come and join us and be in your Element. ... more   less
