We have been visiting Bolberry House Farm campsite for over 40 years, and love spending our camping holidays here - I think that says a lot! A real gem, the site provides far reaching views across the South Devon countryside and down to the sea. A tranquil environment all

I cannot rate this campsite highly enough! We are a family of five and all three children love the site and the area and are always desperate to go back. The site has a lovely friendly feel and the pitches are very large and clearly marked with numbered stakes. The views

N01. Accessing the site if you have a twin axle caravan is virtually impossible. Roads are extremely narrow and there is a hidden stone wall in the hedge at the turning point to the road that leads to the park. No information about this is given on the website when booking.

We're sorry you were disappointed with your stay. We have noted your comments but, as you will see from other numerous reviews we have had, they are not shared. Regarding access, hundreds of double axle caravans have stayed with us over the years and on our neighbouring site also, without issue. Yours sincerely Elaine & Fiona

Can barely see the sea, never mind the view land miles away!

How far is the walk to hope beach - how long does it take with 3 kids 5 to 10
It's about 2 miles one way, 5 miles round trip. With two children aged 19 and 21 it took about an hour to get there because of all the tomfoolery. We would have done it with little ones back in the day. But you'd need to take drinks, biccies, and coats, and make a day of it.

"Ring to ask about the type of pitch you'd like"
"All pitches are great...some slope a little so check with Fiona if tenting"
"Ask Fiona, which pitches over look the sea. Guaranteed a great view."
"This is a great campsite."
"Maybe contemplate camping by the hedge if in the paddock and given the option to do so if windy weather is forecast."
