Getting here was difficult as the SatNav takes you to a random road but then there are no signs anywhere telling you where the castle is. The two girls at reception finished their conversation before looking up at me to welcome me but were pleasant enough on the bar later.

Sorry, have only just seen this question. Definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. As noted by others, there is no lift, the car park is gravelled and stairs to both the toilets and the dining room. Most importantly, wedding ceremonies are held in the 'keep' where access is by very steep spiral steps.

Hi. We were in the Criffel Suite with our grandson and his bed was against a wall a couple of feet from ours. There would not have been space or opportunity for it to be "private". Hope this helps.

family rooms are there 2 single beds in second bedroom
hi, the family room has a double bed and a single bed in it, but there are a couple of twin rooms next to a double room. I am sure the hotel would try to help you need 2 single beds in the room.
