Slightly tricky to find depending on which side of the M1 you coming from, but there is a little bridge over the M1 in the services. Upside - several choices for breakfast (Gregg's fan) and surprisingly quiet in the room despite location.

This Travelodge is exactly what you would hope for from a Travelodge. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet with helpful, pleasant staff. The hotel was reasonably priced.
There was ample free parking - just remember to enter your vehicle registration at the reception desk...More
Room was very clean and fresh, comfy bed. to my surprise being based on motorway services room was quiet and had a good rest. bathroom was very clean with fresh towels. Staff professional and friendlyMore

First time we stayed here, because we had an extra night to fill and it was cheap. the building is showing its age and we were wary being at the services and our room was right next to the motorway.
However, we didn't hear much...More
Good value and just off the the M1 but heading south down the M1 to the hotel could do with better details of how to get over the bridge from the other side of the motorway in order to find the hotel.More

My impression was no. There are service roads, but I don't think these are for public use. May be worth confirming with the Travelodge themselves though...

I also left this way, but I cant remember if it opens automatically from the inside. (I don't remember any major issues leaving)

No charges for parking. Ensure the Lodge has your vehicle details, the system wasn't working properly on my visit and a few weeks later I received a charge in the post.
A call to the Lodge had the charge eventually waived
