A perfect little B&B, beautiful weather, lovely area! Nothing was too much trouble for Dawn the owner, even with Covid restrictions. She even gave us an anniversary card made locally as a reminder of a trip well needed - perfect!
Had a few weeks off work and came here for a couple of nights. Everything was seamless, easy, calm, extremely comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome. Dawn was super and helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and made our stay great! The continental breakfast with homemade bread (that we smelt baking the night before!!) was amazing and just right to set us up for the morning. We were in the peacock room overlooking the beautiful garden full of birds and wildlife. Would absolutely recommend and we would come back in a heartbeat
From arrival to check out Dawn was most accommodating. We stayed in the ground floor Red Room and found it very comfortable with everything we required including a tray with tea, coffee, cookies etc. Dawn also kindly provided hand gel, tissues, disposable gloves and face masks. Due to COVID 19 rules a hot breakfast was not on offer and we were required to eat in our bedroom for which a small table and chairs were provided. However the cold breakfast menu was substantial and we were more than delighted with the choice which included fresh summer fruits, yogurt, cereals, gorgeous cheeses and the most delicious home made bread. The garden was a joy to sit in of an evening after touring Whitstable, Broadstairs, Herne Bay and Canterbury during our 3 day visit. Due to the extreme temperature in weather (30c) each day a fan in our room would have been most welcome as being on the ground floor we didn't want to leave the windows open during the night. I highly recommend this B&B.…
Absolutely fabulous place to stay, Dawn is so welcoming and has thought of everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The Peacock room enjoys stunning views of the garden and countryside in the distance. Patio doors open onto a Juliette balcony which was welcome in the hot weather. Ideally situated to explore the surrounding areas inc Herne Bay, Deal, Walmer Castle, Whitstable and Margate. We will definitely be back. Thank you.
We had a pleasure to be a guests @ Lime Tree Cottage for the two nights stay. Dawn the lady owner from the moment of booking inquiry was just brilliant. We are not usual users of B&B but this one is the top notch. We had the beautifully and very nicely decorated double en-suite room called “Peacock Room” on the first floor with a king size bed and French doors overlooking the garden. Attention to details and standard very high, you can see the owners are taking pride of their accommodation. Dawn’s breakfast was marvellous – huge choice of continental and Full English made to perfection - all served in very classy tableware. She went extra mile to please everyone – Exceedingly recommended!!
