Visiting friends locally, and decided to stay in the B&B which is one of 3 guest rooms in the main farmhouse building. This has been beautifully renovated over the past 10 years by the current owners, and they have certainly made a great job of it.
We had the king size room which was very spacious and had a large bathroom with both shower and bath.
The room has a fantastic far reaching views over the Somerset levels. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep. In room tea / coffee making facilities are provided.
Jo, the owner is a fantastic hostess, she comes across as being a ‘natural’. Just chatting to her as we arrived, she was extremely helpful and happy to go with our requirements. I didn’t want the ‘full English’ she offered for breakfast and asked for a piece of toast, drizzled with marmite and a poached egg on top. She looked a little nervous as she’d never done this before, but I gave her some encouragement and it came out done to perfection!
Absolutely loved our visit and will certainly stay here again when next visiting.

What an amazing campsite. We made a last-minute booking here and spent one night on a pitch with an electric hook-up. The site isn't massive and was fully booked when we arrived, but it didn't feel crowded. There's plenty of space and the amenities are good. Showers are hot and powerful, toilets are flushing, and there's a fridge/freezer which is free for guests to use.

The owners came and chatted to us a couple of times and honestly couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly. They were happy for us to have a fire as long as we didn't damage the grass, and supplied us with some firewood. They were happy for us to bring our small and affable dog with us, but did say they're sometimes selective based on breed, which seems entirely reasonable as the farm is home to small horses and alpacas.

The view from this campsite towards Glastonbury Tor is amazing, especially first thing in the morning, and it's about a twenty-minute drive if you decide to go into town or climb the famous hill.

If you're a plane lover there's also an amazing added bonus in the shed!

Would certainly come back. Great value for money.

We went as five couples and used all their different facilities
Everything was was well done and well kept. Our hosts Jo&Neil were really welcoming. Neil showed us his Harrier jump jet which saw service in the Falklands!
We used two B&B bedrooms interconnected with a Jack/Jill bathroom which together with the superb breakfast made for a wonderful weekend
The others were caravanning on the same site and again the on-site facilities were fab. A large fridge freezer was included.
We were able to have two BBQ nights with all five couples together and on the last night we all given permission to use the guest lounge for Scrabble
Surrounding countryside is really beautiful. Can really recommend

We stayed one night at castle farm in the main house and were made feel very welcome.
The room was very comfortable and clean as was the bathroom.
The breakfast was gorgeous and all was perfectly catered for.
I would definitely recommend and wish we'd stay longer. All very near to beautiful Wells cathedral, cheddar gorge and Weston-super-mare.
Thank you and wish the owners the best for the future. What a gem!

Absolutely stunning, luxurious lodge, finished to a very high spec and included lots of lovely little extra touches for our stay. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and having the resident alpacas come say hi each day. Such lovely hosts who really go the extra mile, inviting our children to see their plane and being so helpful when we had car trouble.

We will undoubtedly be back! Thank you so much Jo and Neil x

We stayed at The Swan Lodge from 28/10-1/11, The reason I booked was it was on a farm and our daughter could enjoy the farm animals.

We have stayed in many lodges before, but not any with these outstanding views.
The lodge is big and modern and very clean, the odd fly here & there but is to be expected as is on a farm.
Daughter enjoyed her visits from Billy the dog and loved feeding the ponies.

We did have some problems with the hot tub the temp kept dipping, but the owners were very kind and helpful in rectifying the issues.

I do have a few suggestions, the mattress did feel rather odd so maybe a mattress topper would be helpful, we both woke with sore backs and felt every time we moved the mattress dipped, this was due to the deep buttons sown in to the mattress.

It would be a really nice touch if the owners also provided a small welcome basket for future guests as it really is in a remote location and would require to drive several miles to the nearest supermarket we've been holidaying for the past 7 years in lodges and all have provided a basket.

Larger bath towels would be welcome, as they are tiny do not fit around a size 10 body, bath robes for the adults and slippers would make it a nice touch too.

These aren't critisms just suggestions the owners are really lovely and were there when you needed them, the owner also showed us around The Harrier jet on the last day what a site and a must see.

We've been back 1/2 day and daughter already missing Billy and The ponies.

All the best

The Ioannou family

We stayed in the Heron Lodge which gave us beautiful views across the Somerset levels due to the large glass doors and if you want to you can watch the Sunrise just to the left of Glastonbury. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen and underfloor heating, also comes with a private hot tub just outside.

We stayed for a one night to escape from the children. We were able to choose our pitch. All pitches are a good size. Facilities are basic but are all you need. The views are amazingly beautiful and you can see for miles. The owners are really lovely and friendly. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Jo and Neil for creating an ideal site.
