We recently stayed for 5 days/nights of pure relaxation at this Motel after an brief earlier stay in February. Even though it was cooler and wetter at this time of the year it didn't matter one bit, as the hot mineral pools were just a few steps from our unit. We were warm and toasty inside too with the heat... More

The selling point for me was the private Thermal spas on site as lots of driving meant needed to unwind those muscle. Generally the property is a little old & rundown (but so am I ) which I do not mind as it was clean and the space was very roomy . Best thing the Spa!!! hot hot hot !... More

This family run motel in Tokaarnu, situated just outside Turangi, was a great place to stay. The hosts, "Blue" and Gail were very welcoming and accommodating for our party of four. The two level unit we had two bedrooms with two beds in each downstairs, and an upper floor loft which had a further three beds and a couch. Also... More

The hot pools in the motel were great like having your own pool at no added cost. The motel unit was clean but could do with an upgrade, facilities were all there though. The showers had great pressure for an older style motel unit. Beds needing upgrade as they were too soft and springs had gone on them. Friendly hosts.

Good place to stay and enjoy the thermal pools and the lovely outdoor area (trampoline, trees etc). Very nice place. Units are fairly simple but comfortable, clean and with everything you need. We have been here a few times and keep coming back as a mid-point stop when travelling through the north island.

Rooms are spacious, clean, lovely and warm with heatpump Well equipped kitchen. In a lovely country park like setting, tanquel. great for families with the trampoline. Hot pools are clean, private with scenic mural on the wall. Great value for money and very homely. Would definately stay again.

This is an older style motel. Has everything you need for a long or short stay. We stay here for about three nights every winter, just to relax and enjoy unlimited use of the private thermal pools. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. If you need access to shops, Turangi is only a short drive... More

Very low standard. Needs cleaning. Un serviced rooms for a long term stay. Very substandard accommodation. I wouldnt stay here again. Local backpackers are better. Needed to rewash all utensils before using them. The drawers were dirty. Cant change an empty toilet roll because of the gaurd thingy. Shower is one of the worst if had. More outside the shower... A dirty, shabby room with cobwebs above the beds and more rules than a boarding school. Dead bugs/weta are everywhere that have been left uncleaned for some time. Stay away from this motel! Dont waste your time!
