It’s true that this hotel is a little tired and worn around the edges in places but it does provide good value for money. It is in need of refurbishment in certain areas and that is apparently going to happen. The bedroom was quite big and the bed itself fairly comfortable.

Hi Paul, I am sorry to hear that you did not like your room in the Mews due to the distance that you both had to walk to have breakfast. If you mentioned this to the Reception staff they would of been able to switch rooms for you as we had two cancellations last weekend and we would of happily moved you in to another room. I am sorry that this makes you feel unhappy, and I genuinely apologise, but should you wish to stay with us again, please ask for a Superior room or a room in Kingfisher which are located closer to the restaurant and Farmhouse bar for dining.
