One of my oldest friends visited me yesterday and suggested we go out for breakfast she suggested the Walkers Lodge as she has visited many times as we are local to the area, i had never been. I must say it is such a beautiful little quaint cafe with homemade jams and marmalade

Breakfast okay. Charged me twice. One cash of £360 and one for £360 by card. Karen made a complaint to Wales Police saying that I did not pay and left but I paid her cash while leaving. So Police came to my house and said to write an email to Wales Police ccing Thames Valley

Firstly, the Police only went to your house after speaking to witnesses and viewing the CCTV which showed clearly that you left without paying. The fact that they traced you by checking CCTV in the local town and finding the address your car is registered to, was amazing otherwise you would have got away with it. I was willing to believe you left without paying as a genuine mistake, but when you ignored my texts and answerphone messages and the same from the police, we had no choice but to pursue the matter further. Also all bathrooms, upstairs and down, have extractor fans with switches outside on the wall, i guess you didnt see these. Also the bunkrooms dont have a window, but they do have a full size glass door to the outside, bigger than a window would be., also with an adjustable vent. You seemed to enjoy your breakfasts while you were here and remarked how lovely it was, you and your friends made full use of the breakfast bar, before your cooked food, to the point other guests commented on how much you all ate and didnt even leave some for the other guests. Your whole attitude changed when i politely told you that check out time was 10 oclock, you wanted to stay till it stopped raining. I told you it would have been ok but i had to change the rooms as i had new guess arriving at 1 oclock. It was bank holiday weekend .But i did extend it to 11 am, and you still hadnt gone by 11.30,. So i am guessing this review is sour grapes. which is why you left the bath sheet towels thrown wet through at the bottom of the stairs and the key for downstairs was thrown upstairs on the landing So any Hoteliers beware of this man as he obtains services and thinks its ok to leave without paying for them.
