Fantastic service. Food was good. I intend to go back and sample more of the menu. The main inn looked terrific with a Vodka bar. Definitely worth a visit if travelling by train so you can take advantage of a vodka or three!

We had a one night stay at the Dove Inn as we were visiting the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. Unfortunately the bus was not being run by the distillery at the moment and a taxi was hard to come by. The landlord and landlady were very friendly. The room was large and clean. You did however hear a little bit of train noise through the night due the station being just outside. But we did have our window open. We had a very enjoyable good quality English breakfast. We also eat dinner at the pub and it was nice to some polish specialities on the menu in addition to the usual ‘pub menu’ choices. We would definitely recommend

Lovely area, great menu, great taste, ease of ordering for drinks via app. A Happy looking garden area to enjoy the sunshine. Great and friendly service. Extremely well accomodating to allergens. Didnt use the inside area, but as we walked through had a clean and welcoming feel. Will most definitely be back again.

Visited with family on Halloween and have to say the decoration and outfits were brilliant. We received a really warm welcome and not only was the ambiance great, so was the food. My daughter had the pork belly, which was cooked to perfection and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My only disappointment is I don’t live near enough to be a regular.

We didn’t fancy eating out, just wanted some delicious food (without cooking) to enjoy at home. We live locally in a village nearby and didn’t realise that the Dove Inn offered takeaway so we were really pleased when they did. We are both vegetarians and the choice of a halloumi burger or pizza. This was fine for us as it is exactly what we like and wanted. The day before Halloween and the pub is decorated with skeletons, cob webs and all sorts. Even the staff were dressed up in costumes but it was all done very well! The food was really delicious - simple but fresh. Good value for money. I liked the packaging was recyclable as well. Very good safety measures in place too. We will definitely be going back there and will book a table.
