Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

Have just had 2 glorious days camping at this idyllic site. Peaceful location and pitches are very spacious. I camped beside the lake, fire pit provided which was great to sit and watch /listen to the abundant wildlife. So much thought has gone into encouraging the wildlife and stunning sorroundings. Loos, showers and all the facilities were immaculately clean, a lovely touch supplying all the Eco friendly products. Hannah was so friendly and helpful on my arrival. Wish I could have stayed longer but I will be returning as soon as possible. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Thank you for your review, but unfortunately, we do not offer camping beside the lake or provide fire pits as these are not allowed on our park so I think you may have accidently written a review for another park, but posted it on TripAdvisor for Wooda Farm, Poughill, Bude, Cornwall in error.

Property's Favourite Review
What a place to stay, no regrets whatsoever. We camped in the large field at the back, the upper meadow. Really easy to book online and received emails with information that helped with checking in process and information about the whole park. Signs around the roads to guide you where you need to go. Really clean park and lots to do if you want to stay in for the day. Great little walk round the woods, we booked archery which was fun and the instructors were really good and spot all the little thing we were not doing quite right to help us and you get loads of goes. Kids loved the parks playing with all the other kids. Shower block clean and has every thing you need, some shower cubicles larger than others so look around. Wash station for washing up. Laundry with dryers and iron and a big freezer for ice blocks, we had three sets that we rotated. The bar was nice and not always really busy but always a good atmosphere, and friendly staff. We ordered chips from the takeaway and they were really good. We had a stop off in the new coffee shop but be aware although they sell gluten free cake the staff don't know about cross contamination and they use all the same utensils so the cake is not gluten free. The shop on site is good enough for most things you would need. Kids loved going to buy their sweets with nice cheap options.

Dear Matt, Thank you for kindly taking the time to write a review following your stay in Upper Meadow. We appreciate all the comments that you have made regarding the making of your booking online, the check-in process, the cleanliness of the park and the facilities that we have to offer. The Coffee House is new to Wooda this year and although this is part of Wooda it is run by a separate team so I will therefore pass the comments that you have made onto them. We look forward to welcoming you back to Wooda in the near future. Kind Regards, Wooda Farm Holiday Park

A very clean and tidy site, everything you could want. We stayed in our Motorhome for a couple of days and was even able to go straight to our pitch and check in online. The toilet's are 5 star and immaculate the best we have been to. Lovely walks all on site and lots to do depending on the time of year you go. This has to be our most favourite place to stay and would highly recommend.

I never leave reviews, ever - but sometimes they are needed. The lady in your cocktail bar, I think her name is Nat? - made our stay. My dog was scared of the noises of the cocktails, so she made the cocktails out of the room to ensure she was settled. An incredible asset to the campsite! We will return!

We have been going to Wooda for over 16 years. We started by staying in my sisters small caravan, then went in their caravans and gradually building up to staying in one of the Gwelva Hills luxury lodges. Wow. Honestly it was the best places we have ever stayed. The lodge was absolutely beautiful. When we arrived the underfloor heating was on and the place was just amazing. So light and clean. These lodges have been made with such thought and detail and no expense has been spared. We are now back home redesigning our home! Homestly this was our best holiday ever, even the weather was good to us too. Cannot wait to come back again.

we stayed at Wooda in our motorhome, OH WOW, what a lovely park, there is a very well stocked shop, the staff are very helpful,, this site has a fishing lake, resident alpacas, woodland walks, there are two bars where you can get something to eat and some nights listen to music, there is a takeaway on the park, the utility block is one of the best we have experienced, always clean and tidy, a little walk or a bus ride into Bude where there are two lovely beaches, on one there is the Bude seapool, well worth a dip.

We stayed at Summerleaze a lovely lodge with great views over Bude. The accommodation was what you would expect from 5 ⭐️. It was clean and reasonably well equipped. I say reasonably as a little sparse. It doesn’t have any cleaning products available so if you like to clean after your cooking bring your own. There was also no aluminium foil or clingfilm, a glass jug for measuring would also have been useful. This isn’t a criticism just a personal observation. We didn’t use the on-site facilities except the shop as most things were closed as out of season. It is a great place to walk or cycle from. Very peaceful even though it is a large site. Would recommend and hope to return soon.

Dear Colin, Thank you for taking the time to post a review following your recent stay in the Summerleaze lodge which is one of our front row self-catering lodges. Bedding, towels, hand wash, fairy liquid, hob & oven cleaner, dish cloths, tea towels and toilet rolls are all provided along with some dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, coffee pods, sugar, tea and milk sticks. Unfortunately, items such as cling film and aluminium foil would need to be provided by the guests staying. I have also checked with housekeeping and there is a measuring jug provided in the lodge so I am sorry that you were unable to find it. The facilities that we offer do reduce slightly towards the end of September, but the shop is open 7 days a week, The Courtyard Bar & Grill closes on a Sunday and Monday, The Lodge Takeaway closes on a Tuesday and Wednesday so there is always somewhere to purchase food onsite. There was a Happy Hour in the Loft Cocktail Bar on the Sunday and live music on the Wednesday during your stay and this closed on a Tuesday and Thursday. The Coffee Shop was also open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only from 10am - 12pm. Information on the opening times of our facilities is always left in all accommodation for when guests arrive. It was lovely to hear that you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind Regards, Wooda Farm Holiday Park

We booked Wooda as it had been recommended by a friend who has stayed numerous times and knows the owner. We had high expectations, having chosen one of the premium holiday homes with price to match - a three bedroom Mulberry holiday home. The website stated there was a TV in each bedroom and boasted a king size bed in the master bedroom. When we arrived there was no TV in one of the twin bedrooms and the master bedroom had a double bed. We booked this particular accommodation based on the specification the website advertised. We were told the website was new and some incorrect information had been transferred over. Only one of the twin bedrooms have a TV and non of the three bedroom Mulberry’s have a king size bed. The maintenance guy did offer to pop a TV in the third bedroom on the evening we arrived but having been up since 02:30 we declined and asked for it to be done the following day, which it was. We were also given a bottle of wine as an apology. Wooda management called to discuss the master bedroom issue after a second visit to Reception and we were offered to be moved - we declined. We were compensated for the inconvenience. The website is still incorrect as it shows as having a king size bed in one part and double in another. Stained carpet by the dining table - many marks, not just an odd one or two. Shame this hasn’t been addressed as they are very noticeable. The toilets smell unpleasant - not sure whether the toilet itself is the issue or the floor needs a decent clean with very hot water and disinfectant. Very basic kitchen equipment - saucepan with loose handle, tin opener which doesn’t grip and turn easily and blunt ‘sharp’ knives. On the positive side of things - fab views, decent enough sofa, a ton of TV channels, full size fridge freezer, powerful shower, excellent heating and hot water, dishwasher (but should have had instructions as spent forever the first time figuring out how to work it). Cannot comment on restaurant etc as not used. We are using this site as a base for house hunting in the surrounding area. If we were needing similar again I doubt we would return - taking all the above into consideration.

Amazing stay in Brambles which was just the most beautiful cottage perfect for our family, more than made up for the weather. Sublime views and easy access to the town and local shooed. Also amazing facilities and our toddler loved the play areas and nature walks, would 100% return and recommend to others.
