Our room was overlooking the gardens and was very pleasant and relaxing. The breakfast was excellent and they catered for Gluten free which was excellent. The afternoon tea was also good. We received a warm welcome and our room was lovely having paid for an upgrade. We had to chase up our complimentary bathrobes and prosecco. The evening meals were delicious and well presented but ever such small portions. My husband asked if it was a health farm break as we were still hungry after our two courses. I had beef...

Stayed here as last minute, nice relaxing setting ideal after the Christmas & New Years festivities. The rooms are spacious, could do with a bit of modernizing especially the bathrooms, but nice non the less. We did not leave the room of a night and room service was prompt and good standard. The spa is really nice, clean and quiet....

Wonderful evening. Our stay started with a lovely reception by friendly staff. Great pool and sauna/stream rooms. Friendly bar staff too. The dinner was well organised. Food ok but all courses served hot to all guests at the same time (doesn't always happen at large gatherings). Fun evening of music and dancing with a live band and then disco. Bit...

Stayed over the first weekend in January as a present for a milestone birthday. Staff were fantastic the whole time making the stay very enjoyable. The prices were expensive though, we used our allowance from the market menu to choose from the A la Carte as the choice was fairly limited and for a modest 2 courses and a drink...

We booked a two day break over Christmas. The hotel and environment were fine and the staff were excellent. The food however was very mixed in quality, with the Christmas day evening buffet less than acceptable - looking and tasting like something rehashed from an earlier meal and produced without much throught.
