Stayed for one night. The hotel offers great value for money to Stay in a grade 2 listed building with lots of character and Beautiful grounds.

We arrived and we were warmly greeted. We were checked into room 12. The room is small but well furnished. The end of the bed is very close to the wall and the tv that is mounted on the wall. Tv was a bit small but seeing as though there wasn’t much space it was probably fitting. Room overall was a bit cramped. We also found the room quite warm even with heating low.

The sheets and duvet are of very good quality. Duvet is very thick and cosy. Pillows are decent.

We did however have some disturbed sleep from the noisy corridor guest traffic.

The towels provided were very big and fluffy and you received a bath sheet. Nice, big and very cosy!

Plenty of other facilities in the room from tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, hairdryer and ironing board and iron in the wardrobe.

Breakfast was very nice. Both full English, continental and other hot options available. The full English was perfect with the eggs and toast cooked as requested. There was no grease whatsoever on the plate. It felt very clean. Absolutely lovely.

I had the part of the continental option. I enjoyed a freshly made up yoghurt and blueberries in very cute Kilner Jar along with some Danish pastries and an orange. The pastries were the BEST I have ever encountered. I’m not sure if they were freshly baked on site but a big thumbs up for them. 👍👍👍👍. They were Absolutely divine.

Overall a very nice hotel at a brilliant price. Would highly recommend and will be returning

We had such a lovely time at Inglewood Manor today.
I have never been here before one thing that attracted me was that this venue was an Edwardian Manor House, and it really didn’t disappoint. I loved the ornate features and furniture.

Upon arrival we were immediately taken care of and shown to our table for the afternoon tea. The dining area overlooked the impeccably kept grounds and I’m sure had the weather been better the bi-fold doors to the gardens would have been opened for an alfresco feel.

As we relaxed and chatted the waiting on staff brought us a lovely selection of beautiful handmade sandwiches, cakes and scones, we were also offered Tea, coffee and cold beverages. Something I think, that is worth mentioning is, that we had our 4 year old with us, and as children of that age can be unpredictable we had taken careful consideration of this when we were booking an afternoon tea.

The team were brilliant with her and took the time to chat with her. They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was well maintained and cared for, the washrooms clean and tidy.

After finding a deal on Wowcher for Inglewood Manor we thought it looked amazing on the photos and hoped it was as nice, which we wasn't disappointed when we arrived. With a long gravel road with so much land around it, it was everything you would expect for something so grand. The manor and the land surrounding was beautiful.

We booked for dinner that evening and the food was exception along with the service. The atmosphere in the hotel was calm and relaxing and it was everything that we needed. They even provided a glass of prosecco after i mentioned it was the wife's birthday with a plate and saying happy birthday with macrons and brownies on it. Which again were delicious.

The night stay was exactly what we needed without a care in the word. Even though the hotel has guests it was like we had the place to ourselves, it was that quite. Perfect for a relaxing overnight stay.

Breakfast was the icing on the cake with the lady who looked after us that morning 5th October was just so welcoming and was just excellent service. Couldn't recommend enough.

The breakfast came on warm plates (which my dad would have been pleased with) and it was one of the nicest breakfasts ive had in a long time when staying out, just amazing.

We have already discussed going back soon we enjoyed it so much. 10/10

We booked an overnight stay with breakfast via Travelzoo (Mon-Thurs) and we were blown away by everything from the moment we arrived. Immediately on arrival we were greeted by Steve (Manager) who told us all about the history of the manor and explained to us where everything was.

We took time to wander around the grounds prior to enjoying an early afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and served by very friendly staff. We then drove to Capenhurst Station to catch the train into Chester (trains run every 20 mins, 30 mins later at night) £3.60 each return and a 9 minute journey. Following a lovely afternoon and early evening meal in Chester we returned to the hotel to check in and to enjoy an evening walk in the grounds. We didnt realise that we had to book a breakfast slot and managed to get an 8am slot (as we had checked in late as our room wasnt ready until 3pm and we left for 1.30pm for Chester), but this suited us well as we had a 10am slot booked at the zoo the next morning.

Our room at the front of the house was amazing overlooking the gardens. It was a much larger room than we had expected, tastefully decorated and very clean. The beds had the most comfortable mattress (firm just as we like it) and a selection of different pillows. Needless to say I had an amazing nights sleep, it was so peaceful, with the only noise being a downpour of rain around 4am (I'd left the window open but no rain came in) and it was wonderful to smell the freshness at 7am in the morning.

Steve greeted us for Breakfast and took our order for a full englist which was speedily delivered to our table after the tea/coffee and toast. Great menu to choose from and the food came piping hot. Again first class food and service. Simple check out service delivered by very friendly reception staff.

We were sad to leave but hopefully we will return again when we are next in the area. A truly memorable stay, where we were made to feel very special. I for one just loved the peace and beauty of the place (but I am an old romantic)! Thank you to all at Inglewood Manor including Sue who helps look after the beautfiul flowers.

Lovely quaint hotel in a quiet location. Nice gardens to sit out in when it's warm weather. Very friendly & helpful staff. Pretty bedrooms with amazing views (especially the bathroom in room 20 😊). Everything you might need supplied. Iron, ironing board, hangers, tea/coffee making facilities, can, heater, extra bedding, toiletries, towels. Breakfast was lovely. Service perfect. Again views from bay area of dining room lovely. Nice touch with a note about the history if the hotel provided with you're breakfast drink. Price of drinks in bar much the same as any bar in town, not as expensive as I had thought they would be. Very anti-virus friendly. Only thing to mention which wasn't highlighted before we got there, a debit/card is requested at booking in and £30 is taken immediately. This is in case to take drinks at the bar, so that you can charge them to your room. Anything ordered is then taken from that charge and any monies not used are re-funded when you leave your room key on the way out. Not a particularly bad thing. I didn't have any problems with getting the value back in my account. It was immediately back in my bank but thought people may want to know if you haven't been before.

Myself and my wife stayed here in 2017 as you can see from my previous review, the hotel, staff and food are just a great as I remember them to be.

We came here as a little getaway to relax and unwind, and thats exactly what we did!

Warm welcome on arrival fire burning 😍, checked in quickly and made our way to our room, I think it was room 1 and executive suite, we stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast stay and the food was amazing, beautifully presented and served with a smile.

Everyone we encountered on our stay was lovely and very welcoming and friendly.

Lots of hand sanitiser around the hotel and staff were regularly cleaning down tables and chairs felt very safe.

We can't wait to come back!

Stayed at Inglewood Manor for 3 nights on a diner B&B basis whilst working nearby, in late January 2022. My room was up on the top floor overlooking the front of the hotel, this was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast had a good choice of both cooked and continental, and the waiting staff were keen to make sure you had everything you needed. The diner was a three course meal, with a good selection of both vegetarian and meat dishes.

I usually stay away around two night a week, I found the Inglewood Manor to be the best value and comfortable hotel I have stayed in for a number of years. I would recommend this location to anyone wishing to stay somewhere that is not the usual branded accommodation, and is looking for a more pleasant stay.

Just returned from a 2 night stay with breakfast and 2 course dinner included. Our room 25 overlooked the back gardens and was comfortable with a fan to cool down the room. It was all spotless and as the rooms aren’t being serviced during multiple nights stay any requests for extra supplies are delivered to the room and left on the bed.
The food and service was outstanding, all the staff were super friendly.
We were blessed with beautiful weather so took advantage of the lovely terrace to enjoy a few drinks.
Well worth a walk around the grounds, so much wildlife and really peaceful.

First impressions were good, coming up the drive gives a wonderful view of the hotel and its grounds, a lovely building in a lovely setting.
We had a 3-night stay as a result of a good deal via a travel website. Our room had a beautiful view of the grounds to the west and we could enjoy the evening sunshine. Unfortunately it was the hottest week of the year and with no air conditioning the room got very warm in the evening/night, but sitting outside on the hotel terrace with a couple of cold drinks was a lovely way to cool down.
We enjoyed the food very much, the set menu for dinner was limited but varied enough. Breakfast variety was good with two cooked choices and cereal, fruit or yoghurt to choose from. Tea, coffee and juice was plentiful and more toast than we could manage. The staff were very friendly and helpful, attentive without being intrusive.
What also impressed me during the current COVID-19 pandemic was the attention to government guidance and maintaining safe distances between guests. I never felt that our safety was compromised or that we were inconvenienced by the hotel's implementation of the safety rules.
I'd certainly choose to stay again at Inglewood Manor, perhaps not at the height of summer but I imaging the grounds would be beautiful in springtime.

Just returned from this wonderful hotel after spending two nights there and already looking at when we can go back! The setting is magnificent in its own extensive grounds which you have full access to, it is very tranquil and calming. However, the hotel staff are the stars at this retreat, extremely efficient and attentive and nothing was too much trouble, every single one of them! We even learned some history of the house (after asking about it) from Steve who was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. From the pre-dinner drinks on the Manor Terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens to the excellent food in the restaurant you truly felt special and privileged to be there. The food was creative, tasty and superbly cooked with generous portions and the wine/beer was reasonably priced.
Thank you all at Inglewood for a memorable and revitalising stay. We will definitely be back!!!
