Do not order the chicken burger, it rates at the worst quality to price ratio of any burger I've ever experienced. It was advertised as being served in a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato and onions. I got one of those ingredients, unfortunately it was wilted lettuce. The server tried to convince me their fainted bun wasn't salvaged from a...

Stayed here for one night at the weekend. We had a party to go to locally. Checked in at 2 pm the lady at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and welcoming taking us up to our room. The room was quite small but spotlessly clean with a brand new on-suite bathroom with toiletries supplies. Tea and coffee and...

Very nice ambience in this restaurant and staff very nice but we asked for the small portion of fish and chips and, by jings, did they deliver the smallest portion we have ever seen... no peas or bread and butter to pad it out.. we were all still hungry when we left... at £7.95 far too expensive for what it...

May, went for a lunch, which was booked, and we had to wait after our order to be told 20 mins later, they did not have haggis as a starter. Then another 10 minutes, finally got starter, and waited, and waited, ...then finally after asking where the main course was, it arrived a few minutes later. The two elderly ladies...

Have to say this place is a hidden gem. Staff are amazing. We were there for a 60th birthday and they put banners up at no cost. The food was amazing I asked to change the sauce that came with my black pudding bon bons to pepper sauce and it was not a problem tho I would have loved a...

We visited today and had a beautifully presented meal, served by lovely staff (Lauren, Shaunie and another young lady - name began with D). Real value for money in a lovely bar/restaurant. Will go back if ever we pass through here again!

Had a very enjoyable meal here on mothers day. Had not prebooked but was seated within 15mins. Good set menu and attentive staff. Well worth a visit and will certainly be back. Also if you are interested in Robert Burns there are plenty of nearby places of interest.

We went to the Fairburn Hotel yesterday for a 2 course lunch and ended up spending the rest of the afternoon there. The lunch menu was great - a good range of choices, well cooked, well presented and served by friendly and obliging staff. Lovely meals for both of us. Fish wasn't available, but that just demonstrates that the food...
