Bit late this but my wife and I were staying at the Upper Largo Hotel on 4th September and walked down around 4pm. Lovely walk through the woods and along the beach. Tide came in to stop beach bit of walk home. The weather was glorious and we sat at a picnic table out the back in the sunshine. Loved it. We had 4 drinks was so relaxing. I loved going back inside to such a cosy friendly bar, the landlady was very pleasant and we just wanted to stay there. Thankyou, one of the nicest bars we have ever been to, and that is saying something !!?? We are away in Lanzarote Dec and Jan but looking at trying to sort something out for Feb/March to return. Brilliant.

The locals are super friendly & engaging. A great Guinness! The Pub staff are also engaging & friendly. This pub has multiple seating arrangements : outdoor open, outdoor covered & indoor If the weather is good, try and get an outside seat 🥰 & if the weather is not so good - pop inside, it is a very cosy, comfortable pub.

Excellent pub but it is a pub not a hotel. No accommodation. Great value pies and toasties served 12-4 £2.50-£3.25. Good variety of ales. Interesting decor. Wood burning stove. Children and dogs allowed. Come here for lunch then go for a walk along the beautiful seafront. We’re planning a walk but are currently too cosy to want to leave

I'm originally from this area, though I've been away for 44 years now. We return regularly and this, The Railway, is one of the best traditional pubs in Scotland. Great range of real ales, whiskies, gins and other drinks. Friendly staff and fabulous atmosphere. Wee beer garden out the back if the weather's warm. It's a pub for having a drink and a chat, though there is a weekly quiz night. You can get a snack (toasties and pies) lunchtime but if you're hungry, the Crusoe Hotel (good food) is literally across the road. Can't recommend this place highly enough and Largo is a lovely village with beautiful beaches (nearest being about 70 yards from. the pub's front door). Treat yourself!

We were based in Lundin Links for our holiday in Fife and this pub became our local, We visited most nights and were served by a few different bar staff and all were friendly and welcoming. As in the name it has a railway theme in its decor, also it is under the very scenic railway bridge over Lower Largo, Great for photos, but maybe before you've gone in! There is also a beer garden located basically under the bridge, sliding doors like old rail carriages and was very clean throughout. A very welcoming stop for the Fife Coastal Path and a dog friendly hostelry. 5 real ales can be on at one time and there is a nice selection of Malt whiskies and a emphasis on a large selection of Gins. Good interaction as well with the friendly locals, good banter. We really enjoyed our times at the railway Inn and it will be our first pitstop when we return to Fife. Don't change a thing.…

Great little pub which was very welcoming to the four of us and three large dogs. Quirky layout with doors that you have to slide open. It’s also got a lovely beer garden which gets the late afternoon sun. All the locals are also very friendly. A great place to stop after a dog walk !
