Loved this place! After visiting wineries and sightseeing most of the day and coming back to a nice pool, we could enjoy a nice meal and bottle of fine French Bordeaux wine we had purchased earlier as well as the one we had with dinner.

This hotel really took me back to the grand hotels of the 1960s and 70s in its scale and fittings. Not bad in itself but it does trigger some melancholy reflections on how yesterday's luxury merely seems quaint and slightly bizarre nowadays. No problem at all as far as cleanliness and amenities go but you could almost imagine yourself in...

Very disappointed in this hotel. Only stayed here because there wasn't much else around. The rooms are miserable and dark and I really wonder when our bathroom was last cleaned. Thankfully only one night was wasted in this place. I declined dinner in the restaurant after seeing the state of our room. Their website is misleading and I would say...

We stayed here for a couple of days before flying back homebound from Bordeaux airport. The suite (216) was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2 small children. The interior deco looked like an "Austin Powers" movie - clearly from the 70s and updated with a link of gold paint and wallpaper. Luckily the bed was great! Breakfast service...

This is the second time we've stayed at Chateau de la Tour. It is conveniently located at the edge of the town. Quiet and with good parking it's a short walk into the town which has pleasant cafes and restaurants. The rooms are adequate but I think over priced. Despite the name, this is NOT a chateau, therefore a disappointment....

Chateau de la Tour is on the outskirts of Cadillac and is a good one night stay. It's obviously popular for business travellers and small meeting groups and touring cyclists. The spacious grounds are probably the highlight and the rooms are spacious. There's a convenient well stocked mini market opposite too. On the downside, the breakfast was disappointing and it...

We stop here often as it is half way from the Channel to the Med. The staff always welcome us and our dog and the hotel's setting in a beautiful park is a joy. The food is delicious (if on the expensive side) but the breakfast is disappointing and we usually give it a miss. Unlike another of your reviewers...

The hotel has been done up recently and situated close to the town. The staff are very friendly and the rooms comfortable with good parking facilities. That said, the hotel is rather expensive for what it is (there are limited other local options) and the breakfast was poor and didn't live up to the price of €10 each. We ate...

I stayed at this hotel for a one-week summer school and I was loving it because it´s so pretty and the rooms are very comfortable and the food is delicious but my lovely staying was ruined because of the exotic parrot they keep in a cage near the dinner tables. He looked so sad and so lonely that made me...

The hotel was clean and neat but absolutely nothings special. We booked the Epernon rooms with a view onto the castle, but it was no spectacular view and felt a bit like we were in an attic. Fine enough - it was not bad, but it was certainly overpriced for what it was and where it was.
