Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I made the booking for Co Worker for Business trip and from the beginning it was hassle. i checked the hotel in Expedia and it was mentioned in the hotel page that they offer Free Airport Transportation and mainly this was the main reason i chose Dmas hotel for it. before making the reservation i called the hotel to confirm about the transportation , someone called Mohsin answered me and said that the airport transport is chargable and this is mistake from Expedia side, i asked to talk to the Front Office manager but he told me that he checked with his manager and he will offer me Free Airport Shuttle and all what i need to do is make reservation and send him email. i made the reservation and sent email to ask for the Airport transport but then Mohsin said that it will be chargeable and he denied his confirmation before and told me he only said that he will check with the manager but my reservation has cheap rate and he can't offer transport. i asked to talk with the FO manager and he told me he is the FO manager , i asked for the GM and he told me he is in meeting then he told me he is out of the country . i was quite upset cause i consider this as cheating cause the hotel website say free transport and he confirmed it to me then he want to charge me for it . i made several international calls and several emails no one else answered me back like the whole hotel only one person is managing it !! No knowledge of good guest service and guest satisfaction. by the end of the stay we have been agreed on the charges with 8 OMR for Airport pick up and 6 OMR for Airport Drop but when i asked to change the Airport drop time to 6:30 AM he charged me 8 OMR cause the time is Early !! never heard about that before. in the end of the stay, instead of giving the Guest Invoice or Receipt for the taxi charges Mohsin printed his own email to me stating the charges of 16 OMR for both ways since when hotels give email copies upon check out for guests .... really weird hotel system and very disappointing.

When I booked the Hotel, my expectations was a overnight stay during the transit considering its proximity to the city & with a decent price range. I got pleasantly surprised on the Host's highly attentive approach, the amenities & mostly the food the prepared additionally to accommodate my request so promptly. The Rooms are decent, good sizable, clean & with all basic amenities. They upgraded my room without any additional charges which was a great gesture, I liked the cleanliness of the room & the views as well. The locations is also good, very close to the main city & main market area. I will recommend this hotel for a budget friendly stay with a decent staying experiences.

I stayed two nights in this hotel during my back packing holidays to Oman. Rooms have very good size and it is very clean. Breakfast is quite simple but tasty local food. Split A/C units are very effective but I tried two rooms and neither had adjustable direction of flow. At one room A/C would be blowing straight on my head so I asked to change my room and was accommodated very quickly to another room where I was more comfortable.

Muscat a very expensive city for accommodation when compared to other similar touristic destinations. We found this hotel a very good value equation and recommend it to people that need a safe and OK place to stay. The manager (Mr. George) is a very nice lebanese that supported us in anything we needed. He even sent us with his personal driver (no charges!) to the mall in the first day, when taxis were scarce. In addition, there are several restaurants nearby... we liked the one with egyptian/syrian food. It's a delivery place, but have a few tables where you can eat there. There is a juice place (same owner) just next... very good food!

Location is fine, close to Qurum beach (by car), shopping areas, Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, etc. Room was spacious and nicely decorated (see picture) with comfortable king size bed. Very good breakfast (room service during Ramadan month).

I came to visit Oman for a job interview. I needed a place for approx. a month as my wife was accompanying me I had to choose a place that would not give us a heart attack nor endless sleepless nights . I went around and saw almost all hotel apartments in the city. Every single one I went to looked soooooo shady! finally came across this hotel. the manager was a good man. the staff though less than helpful two people Mr. Faisal and Mr. Mohsin were more than courteous. The rooms were clean and with good furnishings. my window opened to the sea side and the sunrise and sunsets were pretty. walking distance from most grocery stores. the hotel is not meant for tourists yet ...no swimming pool no gym no spa no transport no tourist visiting programmes etc. so basically if you are a back packer like me n my wife and love and explore places and bargain for prices then this is the only place of its kind in the entire area

I had booked this hotel for three nights but once i arrived there and saw the location and surroundings, i decided to leave next morning. The hotel is far from everything to see in Muscat and unless you have a car, it would not be a good choice. My room was OK, but only with a window that gave on the window of another room...nothing else. Most employees are nice and the manager is really nice. I had a bad experience with front desk staff when I needed a taxi to go to the Mutrah corniche. He was most unhelpful and borderline rude. Overall average hotel, but far from everything.

I visited this hotel recently to enquire about a room. Two men sat behind the reception desk, one on the phone, one checking some figures. I took a seat opposite, smiled at them. After a couple of minutes Receptionist no.1 came off the phone. I smiled at him again. He ignored me. I sat there another minute. Receptionist no.2 finished adding up his figures. I smiled at him. He ignored me. Receptionists no.1 and no. 2 started talking to one another. I smiled at them one last time. They both ignored me, even though I had been sat there for five minutes by now, within about one foot of them both. Then I walked out of the hotel and went to stay somewhere in which I was not invisible.

This hotel is relatively new and I was impressed with the cleanliness and the well furnished rooms. The rooms even had electric plugs with adapters. It is very hard to get accommodation and good value in Muscat, and the city being spread out as it is, you are always far from something. One truly requires a car to get aroung the city and the country as well. The hotel is close to the airport, but no so close to Mutrah or other points of interest. Lulu hypermarket where one can purchase any items necessary is pretty close to the hotel. Having a car rectifies the distance problem. The breakfast was suprisingly good with enough variety to satisfy most persons' tastes. In my humble opinion this little hotel is great value for a relative expensive country with limited accommodation choices. I would definitely come back to this hotel.
