No problem finding this place on a Sat Nav and anyway signposted well, but it is in a small village in a valley. Bit of a blast from the past. After staying in Europe 20 days in various countries this was the only place where there was no attempt to help us with the language. We are not dim language...

We visited for the weekend, it's been a few years since our last visit, but the place was as charming as ever. Restaurant food was amazing, décor has been done since we were last here, and I am not sure about the zebra accessories but the service was excellent. Good choice of things for breakfast, boiled eggs, cereals, local cheese...

It's in a pristine little village adjacent to Arbois and it is not all that easy to find, but well worth it. You have to go down some really tiny roads outside of Arbois that look like they are going nowhere, and the hotel is at the very end of it, once you reach Les Planches-pres-Arbois. The place is nestled...

Very nice hotel at the Jura country side. In the middle of nature. Good food especially the deserts. We stayed for 7 nights at half board with a verying menu every night. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We met a friendly staff, who was willing to go the extra distance to meet our needs. We stayed at the main house and found it both interesting and romantic. The mattress in the bed was of good quality, and the poster bed was both squeak free and clean (as was the entire room). It was however a bit shorter...

The location of this hotel is lovely, in the middle of the Jura contryside, near a river. But that's the only good thing about this place. The first thing that struck us when we walked in was a dirty smell, which was everywhere in the building and never left the place. Make sure you don't look at the floors, they...

We were returning from Italy this summer and for a change took a chance on finding a hotel along the way. This turned out to be harder than we thought originally, so much of the Jura seemed to be depressed little towns with not a lot going on. That maybe unfair, it was summer and people could have been away...

We stayed here with another couple. Our room was fine, being at the rear of the hotel overlooking the millpond and waterfall. It was great to drift off to sleep to the sound of crashing water! When we arrived at 14:45, we noted that reception was closed from 12:00 - 15:00. This was not a problem for us, even though...

The hotel is in a stunning and quiet location but the staff were not particularly helpful. We booked a superior room as we read that the standard were very small and that there was no shower in the bathroom. Our friends who were travelling with us booked a standard room some Euros 40 cheaper than our per night. On arrival...

We spent a long weekend at the hotel at the beginning of July. There was an initial confusion over which suite we had booked, but it was sorted out very quickly. The rooms were much cleaner than previous years and arriving at the hotel still provokes the same reaction of a large smile appearing on our faces. The hotel managers...

“We have only stayed in the mill house itself, so can only comment on these rooms. Room 2 has a lovely jacuzzi and a private terrace overlooking the waterfall. Room 1 is much cheaper, bigger, but no terrace. We have also stayed in the suite on the 1st floor, it was huge and very nicely laid out with the biggest walk in shower we had ever seen and 2 good flat screen Tvs as well as a twin jacuzzi but i am not sure it is worth the money.”
