Very clean tidy site,COVID compliant, service blocks regularly cleaned early morning to late at night, All staff helpful and friendly , our family had a great experience and would highly recommend this park
Just spent a weekend at this lovely campsite. Pitches are a good distance apart and a generous size too. Everything is clean and certainly covid compliant . Would especially like to thank Ian who helped cleaning our Labrador in the wonderful dog shower! Excellent customer service throughout
2nd visit here as really enjoy this site, asked and we were lucky enough to be given the same pitch. Pitches are good distance apart. Very friendly site, staff really helpful. Social distancing taken seriously without being intrusive. Toilets, showers and washing up areas spotless and cleaned regularly each day. Site extremely clean and tidy. Plenty of walks nearby, Cuckoo Line being a lovely one though watch out for the cyclists who don't have a bell!! Very relaxing with lovely fishing lake, farm, riding stables and more on site so plenty of wandering about plus sheep, goats etc. Also Lakeside Cafe which is always popular. Ice cream van visits daily and can recommend. Definitely recommend this site.
We are here at the moment with our two kids (4&8). The site is calm and relaxed and everyone is friendly. The toilet block is clean and has showers that stay on and stay warm! Lovely play park within the site and a larger one just outside with a skate park. Pubs a short walk away, lovely walks and on the bus route to lots of places. Would definitely stay here again. We have a pitch with electric and water hook ups.
Just back from a 3 night mid week break for my son & I. The Site Staff we came across where all friendly, helpful & Covid aware from start to finish. We where given a grass, non electric hook up pitch, which we requested on the perimeter of the site with no used pitches either side. All where generous in size. Both Communal Toilet/Shower buildings where spotlessly clean. We used the block closest to site entrance for showers as was newer, and did not have to wait to use in any instance, possibly as site was not full. But told was fully booked for most weekends ahead. We took bikes, and did the part of Cuckoo Trail, golf clubs and visited the driving range at Horam Park GC 5 minutes away. Fishing on ponds adjacent site, which we only watched. The Trawlerman Fish & Chips in village where good. And time capped off with visiting Ice Cream van around the site between 6-7pm every night. We didn't travel far from home, but had a really good escapism camping break!…
