The inn is very nice, old traditional and lots of history. The manager (Monique) is very nice, and it's clear that she tries hard to keep the place running. We got a room in the main building, and it was actually quite nice, but the furniture was old and almost not functioning. Especially the bed was a problem - too... More

We found this place ok, because of the location to exciting and interesting activities at Langeland. The slotskro is old, and you may smell the centuries. Fun to see all the decorations, paintings and old furnitures from a bygone periode. We ate lovely breakfasts, and ordered a tasty dinner and a house wine one evening. Few other guests, but the... I guess whether one is happy or not with a place depends a lot on expectations. With around 100 hotel nights a year I have a fair sense of what one can get for 130 € a night. This hotel was a big disappointment. The older building is cosy enough but the accommodation bit was build in the sixties and... More

Hello. I would describe my experience as brilliant. Hotel itself gives everything what was promised: clean, welcoming, perfect place. It is in a beautiful island. Town it is small, but there is a lot to explore: huge park, seaside etc. Food was very delicious. Me and my friend never tried Danish food, but from what we had here-we liked it,... More

I stayed here with my family for a week and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff are so friendly and always looking to help, the hotel is kept extremely clean, and the food is very high quality. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay on their holiday.

I recently stayed at this lovely hotel and would definitely stay here again! I am very impressed with the staff as they are welcoming and friendly, always happy to help. As the hotel is located close to the seaside I enjoyed evening walks to come back to a beautiful fireplace in the common room. I truly have nothing bad to... More

I booked Tranekær via sweetdeal for about 1100kr for a night out with my wife and I, receiving a 4 course dinner, white wine, full bottle of red wine, welcome drink, coffee with liquor, double room with bathroom, breakfast, free wifi. Shortly before driving down from Copenhagen I went on Tripadvisor and was a bit worried from the many less... More

We stayed one night at Tranekaer Slotskro as part of a Sweet Deal arrangement. The welcome was very nice and we were treated very well with welcoming drinks etc. We traveled as a family and we were placed in the Horse Barn. Very nice place but only one room out of three was equipped with toilet and bath. The occupants... More
