Great place, great location, very central. Michele is a perfect host, kind, sympathetic and helpful. An archaeologist lover of his country, he gave me tips on beautiful places that are not mentioned in common tourist guides. I spent only few days there but I hope to come back soon... and for a long holiday ;-P If you want to visit Agrigento, you don't need to look for any other place!!! Absolutely recommended! Luciano

Thanks Luciano, the enthusiasm of our guests always overwhelms me in doing my job better, your personality is immediate, and the grace with which you incline you open all the doors. Then the shared passion for archeology, and we are very few materials after graduation (which will arrive soon and with your commitment before me!) Added value to our knowledge. A real pleasure to have met you and I'm sure we'll meet again, despite the thousands of miles between us. Good luck and see you soon! -Michele Lorgio-

I would recommend this B and B for an overnight stay for visitors to Agrigento. It is close to railway station and bus stop to ancient site. The host, Michele, is ever helpful, kind and well informed. He made our short stay in Agrigento memorable.

Thank you for your pleasant stay, we already have gratified many beautiful words in those moments, we add that the lady has forgotten a nice linen jacket in the closet, and we have taken care to make an urgent international shipment at our expense, which has already received. Probably, for that alone, we deserved a bullet in more general assessment, but nonetheless, we also have this kind of gratitude by guests

If you just need a room for the night, this B and B is fine but it is rather charmless and is simply a bed in a room with basic en suite facilities. Our breakfast was basic - bread and jam with very strong coffee. Michele was keen for us to leave and stripped our beds whilst we were having breakfast. In my opinion, the reviews are highly overrated.

What to say , one is surprised when a guest, who has chosen us based on the reviews and the photos of the room you want, which is in accordance with the requirements in reality , complains essential furniture ( and not less) than intended . The room is devoid of charm , with wood ceilings and terracotta floors ? Silent and 30 meters from the center of the main course ? And what about the balcony overlooking the sea and the Temple of Hercules , which leaves all of our guests enchanted , especially at night when it is lit and contrasts with the darkness of the night, or with the colors of the sunset? ! ? As for the breakfast only bread, jam and coffee? We believe that on the table was hard not to notice the following: assortment of different kinds of tea, assorted juices (at least two ) , three different types of biscuits , honey, instant barley , corn flakes, yogurt , assorted croissants and brioches pre-packaged (as per the provisions of law on B & B about ) of various types, and still be available to do find something different for breakfast on request . Expected also that we have allowed a late check-out , we would have expected a thank you. Of course we wanted to create disruption to other guests who had booked the same room ( we're talking about a period of high season !) , And during breakfast (just a few minutes of their output ) we asked for and obtained their consent to take the sheets to give to the laundry room . We remind all our guests that the B & B is the private residence of a citizen who provides their own lives and their knowledge of the city in favor of the guests and travelers , sharing also the customs relatives, who he thinks to find the ' inn statement at the place of the hotel, will do much better to change the type of choice , and hijack their own choices of guest houses and hostels. All the other reviews show that they have understood this , and for this reason are not overvalued , but agree with this style of travel.

This is definitely a place I would recommend to other travellers. The B&B is in the heart of the old city, but in a quiet street. The room was clean and well equipped. but the best thing was the host who gave me lots of good advice about which places to go to and who was genuinely friendly and welcoming. He even remained so when I insisted on speaking my stumbling version of Italian :-)

Caroline is a delightful Belgian girl, who wanted to discover Sicily in detail, with a great attention in particular to the archaeological and cultural aspect of the trip, so that has extended for one day holiday, finding a cozy home. It was really a great pleasure to host you, and I hope that you will come back to see the rest of Sicily that you are missing! Michele

Well located B&B near the main street but still quiet enough to enjoy and relax when you are in your room. Agrigento is not that big and this is quite central to walk to all the main points of interest or points of transport (bus or train) to got to the temples/beach/next city. Michele studied archaeology so he is excellent on advice and passionate about Sicily. You'll need a day and a half for Agrigento unless you are sprinting around. Paladini di Sicilia is a great little B&B as a pit stop around Sicily to make you feel truly Italian.

Paladini Guesthouse is centrally located in Agrigento. If you take the room with the balcony you have a nice view towards the mediterrenean sea. At night you can see the temples if they are illuminated. The owner Michele is very helpfull and is a good source for information about Agrigento.

We arrived in Agriegento late and tired but were lucky enough to be recommended to stay with the charming and incredibly helpful and informative Michele. Unfortunately we only stayed one night during which he told us a great deal about the Sicilian futurist painters, what to eat and where and helped us book our accommodation for the following night elsewhere. Nothing seemed too much trouble and he even helped carry our luggage to the bus station. We were pleased to find Paladini di Sicilia for our stay in Agriegento.

It 'been a great pleasure to welcome guests cultured and educated as you, and also with a great experience in the hospitality tourism, owners of the fabulous and prestigious structure La Roche in Guernsey (Channel Island), and it is true that we pleasantly spent more time to talk about Art and Culture. I really hope we'll meet again, in the meantime still get a nice greeting! Michele Lorgio

Michele's B&B is very comfortable, in a great location, and with a genuine character. As a host, Michele will go out of his way to help you and make you feel welcome. He serves a very carefully outlaid rich breakfast. Apart from the B&B, he has a reception room in his former photo-studio, where he can give a lot of information on Agrigento and the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

Warm welcome, good hints and advises for Agrigento from Michele (the owner) and a room with balcony and view to the sea. Unfortunately Michele was not honest when he checked the availability of another B&B in Cefalú - that way he earned another 50,- € because we stayed one more night than planned. When we arrived in Cefalú we found out that we could have gone there a day earlier.

We thank our germanic guests, we point out and reiterate in a decisive manner that their stay a day longer, very pleasing to have had the pleasure of going to sea and visit the Archaeological Museum of global importance with calm o, as they desired, was chosen from them. Recall that we adoperammo to find and call any B & B Cefalu, who told me to apply a lower rate would have preferred that guests arrive on Sunday and not Saturday, one of which, however, Saturday was full, and then remain in Agrigento rather than in Cefalu, while offering many attractions, it would have been more convenient, and in any case they would find have tried dozens of other B & B Deals in Cefalu, rather than "agè" and with a shared bathroom, if the requirement was to be Saturday at Cefalu. Regarding the quality of sleep sorry if having had some stress in the city have not found the anatomic mattresses rather than orthopedic mattresses, and still have stayed in the best room in terms of sight, and a great price "last minute". Thank you again for your presence.

It is a great place to go for the first night in Sicily because Michele, the owner, is great, very very friendly, very interesting,in love with his city and passionate about the archeologic value of its surroundings. Then, we had a good introduction on the points of interest of sicily, a great insight in the places worth to visit in Agrigento, including advise on the transportation, way to access, best times to see etc., and info on current events. Michele brought us with his little motorcycle to a jazz concert in the midst of the valley of temples. He also came to pick us up at the bus station on the day of our arrival. Breakfast was very nice, very thoughtful, and shows willingness to introduce the hosts to italian custom. The room where we were was good, but we were very hot because there was no air conditioning. It was a very simple room, but we saw some other rooms with view on the temples and city, and much bigger which were very charming. Should we have stayed in one of those, my rate would probably have been Excellent.Location is great, but it may be a little frightening for a girl alone. The internet was not in the room where we stayed, but we could get it in Michele's shop.

Thank you for your careful analysis, it was a real pleasure to host a young couple as nice as yours. The room was booked by the web with ventilation in the summer and warmer weather of the past 50 years has done the best I could, the next room is equipped with air conditioning, but your choice went to the room without a\c. However, from next spring all rooms will be equipped with air conditioning. The road may seem lonely in the evening, but it is very safe, and appropriate for both young women to lonely elderly. In fact it is very peaceful and quiet even it is 20 meters from the main street, and is also monitored by the bad guys as a few meters ahead live some judges who work at the Court of Agrigento. See you in soon ... and with the air conditioning!
