The Mose farm is 4 kilometers from the Valley of Temples in Agrigento and 3 kilometers from the sea. On our organic farm we produce oranges, almonds, pistachios, fruit and vegetables, wheat and extra virgin olive oil in a very old olive's wood. The same family has ruled the farm from the 18th century and in 1995 it was open to hospitality.

The ranch allows you to step into another era; family history and photos are mixed with historic furniture, dishes, and lovely displays. It feels personal and expansive and charming. We stayed in the main house. Alas there were some mosquitos, and the plumbing is a little tired, but it felt authentic. Chiara is a friendly and engaging hostess who works very hard to keep everything going. The farm is not for those who want everything modern, high-tech and plush comforts. But we so enjoyed our group dinners under the trees in the back yard, the chance to talk with other guests and get their suggestions and views. Being here was a highlight of our time in Sicily.

Very nice agriturismo located on a ridge. Very large and sprawling building with good size rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent family style dinner served that should NOT be missed. Breakfast was good but basic. Very convenient to the Valley of Temples and the associated archaeological museum (that should not be missed) at Agrigento. Must have a car to stay at this property; there is ample, secure parking. There is a swimming pool that we didn’t have time to try

My husband and I visited Fattoria Mose in September this year for 2 nights. The history and beauty is magnificent. The owners delightful, friendly and so accommodating. We loved walking around the olive trees some up to 1000 years old. Enjoyed a morning around the pool before heading off to the Valley of the Temples not far away to see the ruins at sunset , a recommendation from the family. We enjoyed sitting out under the trees for beautiful dinners both nights and the breakfast was delicious. Loved talking to other travelers at dinner including family. THANKYOU for a wonderful stay Chiara

This is the second time we have stayed here. First of all, Chiara, the owner, is unbelievably nice. Our family got covid and she allowed us to stay in one of the apartments. She cooked us dinner and brought breakfast of us, so we didn't have to leave. What a difference from the last B&B we stayed in, in Enna, where the owner would not even bring us breakfast. Thank you Chiara for being so caring and not adding to the stress (of being sick) we had on this trip.

My wife and I spent two nights at this farm outside of Agrigento. Because it is away from town, and I did not want to drive in the dark, we opted for the dinner that is offered here for a reasonable extra charge. We are glad we did. The food was simple, delicious, and plentiful. The highlight for us, though, was having the company of Chiara, the owner. She had a lot of stories about the farm, which has been in her family for several generations. We were there before tourist season — and were the only guests our first night there — so she had time to sit and chat with us. The room was huge, and the old farm house was sprawling, with plenty of common areas. There is plenty of land, covered in olive trees and vineyards, for a pleasant stroll after a day of sightseeing. The farm is only minutes away from the Valley of the Temples, our reason for visiting Agrigento. We highly recommend Fattoria Mosè, and suggest opting for the dinner.…

So glad we found this agriturismo as it's in a quiet, peaceful and beautiful location among olive groves. The hosts do everything to make sure you're happy and comfortable in this character home--even making sure there was gluten-free bread for toast in the morning at breakfast. Breakfast on the balcony is a great way to start the day, and we also ate home-cooked, delicious dinners, too! It is not far from the Valley of Temples and the Turkish Steps so it's a great place to stop and catch your breath. I hope one day to come back here because it truly was a refreshing break from our fast pace through Sicily.

We loved Fattoria Mosé. Our hosts made us feel immediately welcome and at home. The whole place is peaceful, charming and relaxing, set amongst ancient olive groves. We loved the communal dinners on the outdoor terrace and breakfasts at the top of the house on the wisteria covered balcony. Even in October we swam every day either in the hilltop pool or on one of the sandy beaches nearby. Thankyou to Chiara, Marcello and all of you at Fattoria Mosé for a delightful stay.

Fattoria Mose was a high point on our 25 day sojourn in Sicily. We spent 3 nights here, using it as a base to explore the Valley of the Temples (very good) and the Archaeological Museum (not to be missed) and for a trip to the beach at Heraclea Minoa. Also for just relaxing. The farm - and remember it is a working farm - offers a great blend of comfort, hospitality and dining. The highlight of each day was the evening meal - which started out with Chiara herding her guests into seats that formed a convivial circle. Small snacks and wine soon arrived and conversations broke out. There was always an extreme extrovert who seemed to pull everyone into the conversation, whether it was in English, or German - the dominant languages on our visit. In a short time all repaired to a long table set under a large, old tree where the meal was served. Copious quantities of locally sourced dishes soon arrived. Mostly vegetarian, with a meat dish or two over 3 nights. I should have taken pictures, or written down the offerings, but I was too busy enjoying the meals. An excuse to return ! The wine flowed freely and the meal lasted well into the night. We did not take advantage of the cooking classes offered here - another excuse to return ! The accommodations were comfortable - lulled to sleep by the gentle baaa-ing of sheep, and awoken by the crowing of roosters. It's a farm, remember. If you are seeking a high end SPA-like setting this probably isn't your kind of place. But if you want a thoroughly enjoyable stay with good food, good companions and great hosts, you can't do much better.…

We cannot recommended this gorgeous gem of a place highly enough. Quietly grand, with the interesting atmosphere of a large family house that has been in the same family for generations. This is a working farm with delicious food cooked for guests from the just picked produce. We are definitely returning. The pool is sublime as well.

Fattoria Mosè was the most wonderful place to spend a week in Sicily. If you’re after fancy, luxury, boutique hotel, go elsewhere! This is simple, authentic, rustic. A working farm run by the delightful Chiara who cooks a wonderful selection of Sicilian vegetables (occasionally meat but not always) that you eat round a huge outdoor table, joining other guests as one big family! We shared the table with delightful guests from all corners of the world, even a group of retired Italian high court judges! Our apartment was clean & simple with a small kitchen to cook our own meals if we wanted to. We had a tour of the farm seeing olive groves (one tree over 1000 years old) pistachio & almond, a small vineyard. And the swimming pool ... simple beauty!
