I have been to a few hotels in Alassio, I must say this is my favourite, our room was on the side of the hotel with views of the sea, the room was a good size with excellent storage, the bathroom was also a good size too and it was all kept very clean. We were half board, there is... More

Stayed at this hotel for a week commencing 17 September 2016, was a little concerned by some comments from earlier guests but this hotel is a delight. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have ever experienced in Italy. The room was side facing with a sea view and very comfortable and clean. Both the breakfast and evening... More

Stayed her for three nights in sept. Not so grand...and not a 4 star. It was nowhere near a deluxe experience and the service was pretty surly to say the least. Beware of the beach charges! I was charged €35 for half a day. I complained as I didn't realise there was a charge. The bill for the beach was... More

This is a nice hotel with helpful staff. Rooms feels like they need refurbishment, don't pay extra for seaview it's not worth it. The fitness center have old machines some works some don't. Their food concept is 80, no vegetables in breakfast for example, time to change chef?

I arrived at Alassio from Nice by train. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the station through the cobbled streets down to the Western end of the beach. The position is pretty good for the sea and the town. I really wanted to love the family run Mediterranee. It suffers from a bit of Italian "Star Inflation". It... More

I honestly have mixed feelings about my stay at Mediterranee. The hotel is fantastically located by Alassio budello and its private beach, which is finely tended. The crew is kind and attentive. And this is all about the positive side. There were no really negative peaks, but a long series of smaller things bringing my appreciation of the experience down:... More

My husband and I booked a room with balcony and sea view for one night for our anniversary for 145 euros. When we arrived, having booked parking at 20 euros per night, we needed information about where to go. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful, bossy and demanding so our first impression was poor. I saw a promotion of a manicure... More

This must be the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We thought we outdoor treat ourselves to luxury overnight stop. The hotel was old and tired. The staff were totally indifferent to the point of rudeness and the restaurant a great disappointment. We booked a superior balcony room with sea view. What a waste of money

The staff was extremely nice and professional: top marks for their capacity to go the extra mile to accommodate us and look after our needs (it was my wife's birthday and they procured the roses and flowers requested upon check in). The issue is the structure itself: it is old... Too old. The cot had to be changed because it... More

Just back from holiday to this lovely hotel. Room had sea view. Hotel a bit dated but think this added to its charm. Staff all very pleasant and restaurant staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet was totally adequate. Evening meal let down a little by main course. Starter was lovely, second course either soup or pasta, and sweet all lovely but... More
