Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Third generation family business for 60 years. Fabrizio and his team gave us a warm welcome! We found our bedroom including bunk beds for the children was spacious modern and bright with plenty of storage for all our luggage and skiwear. 3 windows including balcony. Lovely clean tiled modern en-suite bathroom with view of the ski slopes . Room was spotless, The breakfast was typical Italian continental style breakfast including delicious fresh croissants, cereal, juice, local biscuit cakes and yummy coffee. The boot room was perfect for our ski boots helmets etc. B&B Penak is 200m from Campetti ski area and nursery slopes- ideal if travelling with children . As per Fabrizio’s advice we rented our ski gear from idea Sport at the nursery slopes and Danilo allowed us leave our skis there overnight so we did not have to carry skis to/from Penak. Our hire car was parked outside for the week for a small fee. Fabrizio had wonderful local knowledge and helped us arrange ski hire ski pass and tips on where to ski. . He is a qualified ski instructor and gave our children private ski lessons which they thoroughly enjoyed. They improved so much in 3 days. We ate in the restaurant each evening and sampled the burgers and chips and local wine. All delicious. On one evening Fabrizio arranged a local Italian meal for us including prosciutto hams and salad to start, and speck tagliatelle pasta typical of the region for main. All paired up with red wine to match. A wonderful substantial meal to help our recovery from skiing all day. Our overall experience was positive, great value for money, simple tasty food, warm welcome from all staff and ideal for short ski trips For an extra fee we used the family size hot tub in the garden room. It helped ease sore muscles after skiiing. We can’t wait to go back!

This is such a nice B&B, with newly refurbished rooms and a great location to the slopes The owners and staff are so welcoming and friendly. I ended up coming on my own and they made sure to always make me feel welcome. It felt like home from home You have to try the food, the double penak burger is so nice I will definitely be coming back

Lovely, airy rooms with beautiful bathrooms, and views of the mountain. Conveniently located in the centre of the village, close to all the amenities and just a short walk from the pistes. The pleasant breakfast room and a ski deposit room are situated on the ground floor. The hosts were warm and welcoming, with an intimate knowledge of the area.
