The villa is absolutely gorgeous! The grounds are beautiful and maintained well! The pool was spectacular! Best hosts who were extremely accommodating for every request! We just returned home after spending a week at the villa with a group of 26 family and friends for our daughter’s wedding. It is really difficult to even express how perfect everything was! We began planning this almost 2 years ago and were immediately impressed with how quickly Liliana responded to our many emails and questions. Everything about the week was perfect! The villa is huge and allowed everyone plenty of space, the pool was so great to have during the incredibly hot week and cleaned every morning by Dante. The wedding itself was magic! Liliana acted as our coordinator and every detail was perfect. Her warmth and hospitality was remarkable. The food was amazing! We have never been to a wedding with food this delicious! Our advice would be to let Liliana manage everything and enjoy the most incredible day without any worries! The decor, table settings, flowers, music, lighting, cake… absolutely everything was wonderful. I could easily write a paragraph about every element and it still wouldn’t be enough! Just have your wedding here and you will never forget it!…

My now wife and I rented this villa in October 2019 for a week to host our wedding on property. We are from Florida, USA and so are most that traveled with us. We had 30 people staying with us at the villa for the week, and had 52 people attend on the wedding day. This place was amazing, far better than we could have hoped, and that is mainly due to the owners Liliana and Dante. Arezzo is an amazing smaller Italian city with a true Italian experience. There are very few tourists and it is very easy to get around. The city has a ton to offer, and wish we would have saved some more time to explore more of the city, rather than using Arezzo as a hub for day trip to the larger cities around. The villa is on a huge property on a hill overlooking the beautiful Arezzo, and you get a sunset every night over the far hillsides. The house is also massive, with 7 separate apartments with their own individual kitchenettes/full kitchens. We never felt cramped, and probably had to much room as I don't believe we used several areas. We used Liliana as our wedding planner. She was incredible during the whole planning process (over a year for us) and made the wedding day exactly what we wanted. She was able to find everything we requested, even when many of the requests were something she may have never done before. Everything from the flowers brought in, the chefs that made fresh truffle ravioli for the meal, the DJs which are two very talented and fun local musicians, to making everyone feel welcome on the beautiful property for the entire week let alone the wedding day. She also planned an amazing welcome party in Piazza Grand the night before the wedding, as well as helped with several other meals during our stay. While the villa is incredible, if you are looking for a very modern American hotel experience, this is not your place. Tourists looking for an authentic Italian/European experience, this is your place. Thank you again Liliana and Dante for having us and giving us the best experience of our lives!…

We were here for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. It is a very special place, the setting of the pool and the beautiful gardens and watching the stunning sunset every night.. Perfect. For the frailer plus 70s there is alot of steps to get around from many apartments to the pool so that's worth bearing in mind. No problem for a young fit crowd! The party night was so special out on the terrace. Food was plentiful,t stunning cake and Max doing the music got us all dancing very quickly! I won't ever forget how special that night was. Liliana is incredibly helpful. The apartments are lovely. No air con but fans available. The house is old but you have dishwashers and washing machines. Between all the apartments you have everything you need. It's quite hard to cook separately and then carry all the bits to one central area (lots of steps!).. But we managed it! The nights in the restaurant on site were easier!…

Stayed in villa Rossi Mattei July last year to celebrate a wedding. We had the whole villa to ourselves and it was amazing. The views, swimming pool and everything thing about it was just perfect. It was definitely the best wedding I’ve been to and the nicest villa I’ve stayed in. The villa is family owned and the owners were very helpful in organising wedding party and taxis. It’s around 30m walk into the centre but I would definitely recommend a taxi if you have kids.

We enjoyed every minute of our trip to Arezzo. The villa was so much larger than we expected! We had 25 people stay with us, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The villa was incredibly clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed spending time by the beautiful pool. We were lucky enough to hold our wedding at the villa. Liliana was so incredible! She planned and organized the entire wedding from start to finish. Everything from the flowers to the dinner to the dancing was absolutely amazing. We loved dancing the night away with Max and Annesa! During our stay, Liliana also planned a trip for all of us to an amazing winery in Montalcino. We also had a few different cooking classes with Chef Fabrizio. He is an incredible Chef who we all learned a lot from! We can’t wait to make our own pasta at home. We recently had our dream wedding at the beautiful Villa Rossi Mattei. We rented the entire villa for a week, allowing us to have our wedding day followed by a relaxing break for our family and friends. We were described as the most relaxed wedding couple by our friends and family, as Liliana's great wedding planning service took care of everything. We absolutely adored Max and Annesa who provided our wedding entertainment, the food was divine (and so much of it!) - in particular our canapés went down a treat! Flowers were just perfect. In fact every service was just perfect and we couldn't have wished for a better day. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the fact it rained on our wedding day, but we were having SO much fun we honestly didn't even realise. Liliana and Dante seamlessly put in contingency plans for this, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of the location without getting soaked. The villa was more than big enough for our party of 27. It was great to have such large self catering apartments to give our guests. The villa allowed guests to have personal space, as well as allowing us to have large communal areas to entertain everyone. We enjoyed BBQs, pizza pool parties and had the most wonderful time celebrating our wedding. The location of the villa is near enough to town to walk in and sight see, whilst still maintaining privacy for you and your guests. The views from the villa are incredible with panoramic views of beautiful Arezzo. Our guests enjoyed walks around the grounds as well as day trips to nearby Florence. Liliana went out of her way to be accommodating and helpful. From organising our wedding, to ordering a ridiculously large amount of pizzas, arranging airport transport, to providing recommendations for our party in Arezzo. Every detail was catered for and we truly had an unforgettable, magical wedding. We really didn't want to leave, and will forever be thankful to Liliana and her amazing family for providing us with such a perfect wedding.…

Set high on a high hill in Arezzo, this picturesque villa offers panoramic views of the city. The accommodations at the villa were provided by our cooking school, Mangiardivino. The beautiful rustic Tuscan decor gave us a true feel of what we had imagined the Tuscany countryside to be. The typical BnB accommodations were very comfortable and provided everything we needed. Our stay at the villa was delightful and we would highly recommend Villa Rossi Mattei to anyone wanting to experience Tuscan living firsthand. I must add, the cooking school was fabulous!

Our group of 28 rented the entire villa for a week and we got married on the property. Liliana helped organize private vans and tours to surrounding cities, pizza dinners, breakfasts, and most importantly our wedding day. We planned for over a year via email and Liliana was extremely helpful with every detail. All the vendors that Liliana recommended were fantastic from music, food, makeup, flowers, tent rental and more. The villa was also a perfect gathering spot for the group in the evenings to cook dinners and hang out. I do recommend renting a car for your stay for running into town for groceries, dinners and its easier to travel to nearby towns if you opt out of private vans. Overall, such a great experience and we can't thank Liliana and her family enough for their hospitality!…
