One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever been. The staff is THE very best, they are so friendly and helpful in every single way you can possibly imagine. The rooms are just one of a kind, nicely furnished, very very clean, we got some beautiful wild flowers from the garden in our bathroom and they even hang our clothes, isn’t this heaven ? The food in the restaurant is delicious (try the 7-courses dinner- signature of the chef), they use everything they harvest in their own garden. Breakfast with Nadia is so amusing (we really like her accent and her stories), Merko knows a lot about wines and good Prosecco, we trusted on his knowledge and he let us taste some really good ones. Helena, the general manager is a very kind lady who showed us the whole property on our arrival (even her little zoo with the chickens and goats). She’s very dedicated to please all the guests. The photos do not do justice to how beautiful this hotel and grounds are. The architecture and styling is laid back elegance, with beautiful features, materials and decor. Room was very comfortable, especially the bed and shower and the terrace where we ate breakfast and dinner had beautiful views and sunsets looking out across the Tuscan hills. Pool was immaculately maintained. The whole place is serene and very calming which made it hard to leave and venture out. Staff were very kind and helpful and discrete which added to the overall vibe. Small suggestions and niggles would be TV not working, breakfast was a little inconsistent, and the breakfast area a little understaffed at times. My boyfriend would like to mention that the flush in the toilets and the water pressure in the taps was at times insufficient, but these are small things.

The hotel is a 15-20 minute drive up from Arezzo. Road a bit treacherous in places but the view astonishing from the beautiful infinity pool & rooms. The staff are more than welcoming and courteous. Inside the tastefully styled renovated monastery fragrance drifts through and around every corner. Room simply furnished and spotless with frequent invisible room service. Small pretty aromatic veg/flower garden and the most butterflies we have ever seen. Whilst breakfast delivered the best tasting croissants ever and delicious fresh choices, the dinner experience left us very disappointed and we felt very over charged. We have had a lot better for half the price and a Michelin star. It was the only disappointment during our stay and very sadly we chose to eat out after this.

I’m torn, I want to rave about how amazing Badia is, but I don’t want anyone else to discover my slice of heaven! If you’re looking for pool music and a lively hotel, this is NOT for you. And that’s the whole point. From the moment you arrive you are surrounded by nature and tranquility, with just the sound of birds, and views of rolling hills. Davide gave the warmest welcome and passionately showed us around this rustic hotel that’s been renovated to the highest spec but still in keeping with its history. The gardens are beautiful and the chef serves top food with local produce from their garden. The staff make this place what it is! Nadia, Franscesa, Mario, Gianaluca.. it’s a family feel where nothing is too much trouble. They provided impeccable service and always smile; the team helped us with taxis and made my husband feel very special on his bday.
You know how you have the perfect moviesque picture in your head of how you imagine a stay in Tuscany to be but think it’ll never live up to this idyllic fantasy? This does. It’s exactly how I wanted it to be but thought couldn’t possibly exist.

Set in the hills just 15 minutes from Arezzo, this tranquil and beautifully manicured slice of paradise is a tonic for the soul. My wife Melissa and I stayed 3 nights and would most definitely come back. The staff are simply first class. If the property is 5 stars - then the staff are six! A special and heartfelt thanks to Rosa, who was a pure joy for us. Rosa and Max took the best care of us each night for dinner - and the chef was seriously talented. You will not regret making the pilgrimage to this beautiful Tuscan space. Pool, rooms, secret and cosy nooks and crannies - all 5 star!!!

Our stay at Badia di Pomio was truly unforgettable, thanks in large part to the exceptional hospitality of the front of house staff. Mario, our enthusiastic and attentive waiter, ensured every meal was a delightful experience. Rosa's warmth and infectious smile made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
Francesca, Davide, Antonio, and Lorenzo, the front of house team, were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our entire stay, attending to our needs with grace and efficiency.
The culinary delights prepared by the talented chefs were exquisite, and each dish was a true work of art. The pool and gardens added to the charm of this enchanting retreat, providing a serene escape amidst nature's beauty.

This place is a heaven on earth. Elena and her team do everything to make you feel perfect. The food prepared by Daniel, a great chef, as well as the wine selection proposed by the restaurant manager, Mario, are simply amazing. Badia di Pomaio is a very special place. Peaceful, elegant, highly professional and also very welcoming. This is most definitely down to the staff - each and every one of them were wonderful. From arranging yoga for us in the beautiful gardens to chasing a package and dealing with Customs for me - truly nothing was too much trouble. Elena, Davide, Mario, Gianluca, Nadia and Francesca thank you all. And by the way the food is exceptional too - definitely would visit again.

The experience in staying at Badia Di Pomaio does not fit in the traditional rating scales of Trip Advisor. So much thought, care and positive energy has been poured into designing the visitor journey. The architectural design and interiors are one of a kind and belong to industry magazines for others to admire and get inspiration from. The staff is incredibly well attuned to the visitors coming through and carry the character of high degree of professionalism, hospitality and excellence.
Great place to unwind, connect with the magical nature of Tuscany and experience something quite out of the ordinary.

This is the most perfect hotel. Perched up on the hill above Arezzo with wide views this beautifully appointed hotel provided us with a very special and relaxing two night stay during a France/Italy road trip. The charming staff provided the most attentive and friendly service. Our room was extreme comfortable. Lunch and dinner were delicious. We were even lucky enough to be able to enjoy some warm October sunshine by the pool. To be highly recommended.
