We were so glad to end up at this hotel, away from the glitz and glam and faux sprawling resort vibe of the coast. The property is isolated (part of the charm), but nearby attractions are only 10-15 minutes driving away.
The hotel is new and all of the staff members were super friendly and eager to please. We didn't experience any of the complaints mentioned in past reviews, and it's clear they are making efforts to continually improve and deliver a 5-star experience. For example, they accommodated our very early morning departure by seamlessly bringing our car around, transferring our luggage, and providing us with fresh to-go breakfast boxes and coffee.
Our room was spacious, had a beautiful, peaceful aesthetic, and its own plunge pool. It was expensive, but worth it for a special occasion.
Highly recommend taking the free shuttle to their sister property, Agriturismo La Colti, for a traditional Sardinian tasting dinner.
There is not a lot to do on property beyond the pool and spa. Kayaking wasn't available, and unfortunately it was too windy in the area (including by the beaches) when we were there to do a boat outing or enjoy a full day by the pool or beach.
We would recommend this hotel for a quiet place to relax and recharge during a special (splurge) trip. Thank you to the team for welcoming us!

I have been to this wonderful location and with surprise I can say that it stands out from all the places on the Costa Smeralda. A welcoming and private atmosphere, surrounded by nature. The word that best describes the experience is authenticity. In addition to the beauty of the place, the service is truly of the highest quality. The staff are attentive and courteous, even in the preparation of the food (made with genuine, seasonal ingredients). The plus of catering is that there are no limits, not even for those who suffer from food intolerances because they offer solutions for everyone, even for those who are forced to eat gluten free or vegan foods. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Charming eco resort with cosy spa. A splattering of beautiful beaches and coves ranging from 15 minutes to 1+ hour drive from the resort. If you golf, Pevero is about 15 minutes drive from the resort. The F&B crew are sweet and aim to please. The pathway to the rooms are pebbled, so leave your stilettos at home. There is a cheerful and fun family restaurant 5 minutes drive from the resort called L’Oasis, a supermarket and pharmacy about 15 minutes of less from the premise.

This hotel has an amazing energy but it stops there. It is "eco friendly" which means they use that as an excuse for the lack of amenities. No iron or steamer on site and to get your clothes ironed you need to give them a days notice. Not ideal when you're traveling and living out of a suite case. The Yoga area hasn't been used in a long time. The spa is small and they only allow a certain amount of guests at a time and there are only 15 rooms on this property. If you want to use the amenities you have to let them know so they can have someone come in to work. It doesn't make sense. The food portions are small in the restaurant. The staff seem like they just started working here. They also asked when we want someone to pick up our luggage because they have to schedule it with the staff because they're not on site. This was not worth the stay.

You see the love for details in this new resort and the young stuff is really giving their best to make you feel good. However, given the price and the selling points mentioned in every of their website‘s statements - it is really just calm during the day. There is a cart racing on the other side of the olives and macchia and it is incredibly loud until almost 2am in the morning. The restaurant is ok but as everthing at Cascioni is flirting with the 5 star world of other resorts but not delivering in comparison to what you get in other places in the world in this category and with this price tag. The service is nice and friendly but when more than 4 tables are sitting, it becomes very chaotic and every day parts of ouur order was missing. The kitchen is free of any spice, herbes and ideas which is sad given their beautiful veggie garden and all the herbes growing around them. Theie were many places in the neighbourhood cooking much better and of course for less money. Overall it is a cute place, but the money it costs compared to other places of this level is far too much.

Just sublime.... The perfect warm, inviting welcome from Elenora greeted us and from then on it was all uphill. The intiricacies and detail in the interior design and landscaping make for a most pleasant stay. We booked two rooms both with small pools for our family of four. Although there is also another much larger pool at the hotel for all. We picked this hotel for it's tranquility and surroundings and the mention of vegan options. (more on this later) The service within the restaurant is second to none, and a huge thank you to ALL the amazing staff, notably Federico and Andrea and the magnificent Mauro who is exceptional in his first class service and thoughtfulness. They always remembered my pillow and provided blankets when the wind picked up a little. Totally faultless and yet discreet. Five stars plus for the restaurant service and to the chef that did their best to accommodate the vegans within our family. So, the hotel does make note of being vegan/vegetarian friendly. With this to mind, perhaps more options would have been so helpful and taken the stress away on both sides of getting this arranged prior to our arrival. Even a small vegan menu would have been just perfect. The vegan cakes we requested were just delicious and could easily have been out for breakfast for all, but obviously labelled accordingly. Our only criticism was a night out at The Cutter Lounge restaurant in a nearby local town. This is billed as a sister restaurant to the hotel and under their umbrella, with transfers included. How disappointing this turned out to be with zero vegan options, even though on asking we were told there would be. Appalling service from our server and blatantly rude, to the point of throwing the bread on the table. No help in sourcing anything vegan, so we had to provide options for ourselves ie a tomato pizza with vegetables. No dessert either so we popped next door to an ice cream parlour that offered four delicious vegan ice cream varieties. Easy. So with this aside, and to the credit of the Cascioni, who treated us exceptionally the following evening after our experience, we have had the ultimate escape surrounded by the Sardinian mountains. Highly recommended for those wishing to indulge in the peace of life, away from the madding crowd. Thank you Cascioni for looking after us. You all did yourselves proud. We will never forget our time making memories that will last a lifetime.

I discovered this place by first having an aperitif and then going to eat at the restaurant. The aperitif was very nice by the pool , quiet , impeccable cocktails and the smiling waitress, nice (Marianna) . After I went on with my friends at the restaurant, the service again everything was impeccable, close to his customers , always smiling, the word nice (Mauro) . The kitchen was excellent! We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day. A true beauty break, tranquility and tasty. To do again very quickly

This is truely a amazing place to stay, relax and unwind. All the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. There are complimentary shuttles to the San pantaleo market, which is set in a beautiful village, and to the local beach. We took advantage of the picnic experience and the attention to detail to make this such a memorable part of our stay was exceptional , the restaurant was fantastic. I didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back.

What a wonderful place to unwind and recharge your batteries. The resort has a great energy and you are surrounded by a dreamlike nature! We spent 4 nights here and would have liked to stay longer - the staff was courteous and helpful, the rooms very tastefully decorated and the breakfast selected and high quality. You feel like at home and we were able to relax wonderfully! We will be very happy to come back! Mille grazie!

We stayed at Cascioni Eco Retreat for 10 nights and that was the best choice ever. We stayed in a deluxe room and it was amazing. Outside and inside are the best you can wish for. Pure relaxation and tranquility. The staff is superb! Friendly, helpful and always there to assist. Due to them our stay was even better. Chapeau to the Team! The food is fantastic, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The vegetables are fresh from their own land as well as their eggs. We ate several times in the restaurant and we both loved it! The atmosphere in the hotel is really great. We really would like to return and stay again. If you would like to go on an excursion, please ask the front desk. They are more than willing to help you. Thank you staff at Cascioni Eco Retreat for our lovely stay at your hotel.
