This is a superb little hotel. It is family run by Al;do and his lovely, friendly family. Beautifully located in the Badia valley with amazing views. The staff (most of whom are part of the family) are so attentive , friendly and always smiling. And, the food is absolutely top notch. Big, extensive buffet breakfast. Dinner starts with a massive help yourself salad bar, followed by delicious 3 course dinner. Some of the best food i've tasted in ages. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.

Excellent family run hotel in the Dolomites. Room, food, staff, view from balcony all excellent. Aldo and Rosemary provided a warm welcome to the six of us (3 couples in 50s/60s). Gluten-free food options were no trouble. There is a ski-lift right behind the hotel for ski-season.

Stayed here with wife and some friends recently for a weeks walking holiday in the Dolomites. It is a lovely pensione with nice rooms with stunning views of the mountains, a very nice dining room and the food was excellent. We especially liked the buffet breakfast and all you can eat salad bar. However, the rest of the food was very good and they catered very well for one of my friends who has a gluten intolerance. they looked after her very well with no fuss. Aldo and his wife were very friendly hosts. We couldn't fault it at all and would definitely return

Excellent location, facilities, food & staff! Hotel appears to be independently run. Communal areas have a relaxed, family feel. Bedroom & ensuite was spacious, well equipped and quiet. Balcony was useful with lovely view across valley. The dining room consisted of solo travelers, couples and families. All staff very efficient and friendly. Speaking only English was not a problem. Buffet breakfasts were great. I had 4 courses: fruit, cereal, boiled egg, meats & cheeses, ending with pastries. We stayed Half Board and the 4 course evening meals were varied, interesting and excellent quality. All this for a very reasonable price. Would definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Muda , excellent service, food and the location is ideal - easy access to the blue and red runs of Santa Croce and the “ horizontal chair” to link with La Villa and onwards to the Sella Ronda … thank you Aldo and your team !!

LaMuda is the perfect place for skiing vacation. Just 30m away from the ski lift. You can reach Sella Ronda in Corvara (approx 40 min) on your ski or you can chose local Santa Croce slope. Hotel is very nice, we enjoyed accommodation and service. Breakfast and Dinners were very good as well however please note that the cuisine isn't typical Italian as this a Tirol.

Hotel La Muda is the perfect place to stay in the charming village of Badia. Aldo, the host and his family were so welcoming. I stayed for 3 nights by myself due to an injury hiking in the Dolomites. They accommodated me at the last minute so that I could stay there til my husband joined me after he finished the hike. My room was super clean. The food was delicious every meal. The Hotel is walking distance to town and bus stop. I would highly recommend Hotel La Muda if you are near the village of Badia.

We spent two fantastic weeks in this hotel, located in Badia, in a quiet location with outstanding views of the dolomites and with easy access to all the main hiking trip and destinations. Aldo and his wife welcomed in their home and provided warm, friendly and attentive care to us and our two kids. Premises are extremely neat and well-taken care of, from the bedroom to the dining room to the outside areas. Food is freshly cooked and extremely tasteful and delightful, with menu that changes on a daily basis including local specialties and some mainstream dishes. Kids are well taken care of, also in case alternatives from the menus are required. Overall, we would strongly recommend La Muda for a nice and relaxing vacation!
