Very friendly staff! Our room was in the annex across the street from the main hotel. Room was very clean, quiet and larger than we expected. Everything was updated. Bathroom was also very nice and we had a small kitchen in our room. Our room also had a terrace with a view. Breakfast was not super fancy but enough variety for everyone and plenty to eat to start the day. We had dinner here one night and lamented that we should have gotten half board as it's a good value. We would definitely stay here again! Grazie Mille Hotel Cavallino!!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The rooms are new and comfortable. The staff/owners are extremely helpful in planning summer hikes. The wellness centre is also modern and the relaxation room has comfy infrared chairs - a unique experience, and a wonderful way to end the day after a long hike! Highly recommended!

We stayed for a week when skiing. Our room was clean, spacious and well maintained with lots of beautiful wood. The food was really good and the staff were great especially Elisabeth. While we were there we had a wine tasting evening, a welcome buffet and a mulled wine evening - all included in the price. San Leonardo is a little bit off the main ski circuit/sella Ronda but it's easy to get onto - our week was a bit busy and the bubble at La Villa was a bit of a bottleneck though. The piste in the village is really nice though. Would still go back though as the hotel and village are both really likeable.

Our second visit to Cavallino and still looking good. The location is very good, quite close to the ski lift (though a bit on the hill side on the return). The rooms in the main building are in excellent condition, heaving big bathrooms and many storage spaces, Food is just superb, including the option of changing the menu, if you do not like their fixed proposals for the evening. Free garage, wi-fi, skiroom and the themed nights (e.g. wine tasting) are definitely a plus. The best is the personnel, very kind and patient with the kids. Thank you, Armin!
