On entering the hotel it was very bright and airy. Everything was clean. The pool, sun beds, umbrellas, toilet and showers looked recently renovated as did the roof terrace. The dining room was light and airy with a very good variety of food for breakfast. Our room was kept clean with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. The safe and fridge we’re included in the price. There was enough storage to keep our room looking neat and tidy. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The only thing we would have liked in the room was a kettle as we are early risers and unable to get a hot drink until 7:30. We felt the hotel was more of a four star. We’ll done to all who contributed to a great holiday.

This is a fantastic hotel which made our first visit to Italy one to really remember.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Bardolino town which has you spoilt for choice of places to eat and drink in.
The hotel staff are welcoming and friendly, every where is so clean, there is maid service everyday.
On arrival in our room we found we had a beach bag and 2 beach towels to use for our stay, a small fridge with a complimentary bottle of water and a lovely large clean, air conditioned room.
The local spar was 5 minutes walk away to buy snacks and drinks.
We loved the roof top terrace with plenty of sun beds, great views, hot tub, sauna and with the app to order food and drink from we never had to leave the sun bed!
Nice buffet breakfast with seating in or outdoors.
We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice, modern and clean hotel located approx 15 mins walk from the town centre along the lakeside path. It has a pool alongside with sunbeds and a lakeside garden with sunbeds across the road. The 3rd floor sun terrace has a hot tub and sauna and gives great views of the lake. Room was spacious with 2 twin beds, wardrobe with drawers, small fridge and hairdryer and small balcony outside. Breakfasts were sufficient with scrambled egg / omelette, bacon and sausage as hot choices plus a good selection of fruit, cold meats and pastries. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

We arrived at Villa Letizia, the receptionist was lovely, all staff were polite and friendly. Our room was overlooking the lake and was lovely and clean. There is a fridge in room which is helpful. The Hotel,is only a five minute walk from Bardolino with its lovely restaurants and shops.
Breakfast is very good lots of fresh fruit. Bread, rolls, hot food and plenty of cold meats etc.
We could not fault this Hotel and will definitely be back.

Excellent hotel ! Spotlessly clean everywhere. Perfectly situated on the edge of Bardolino, a lovely lakeside stroll to the centre, a leisurely 10 mins. Very nice pool area , jetty into the lake is perfect for a dip . Breakfast is lovely, so much choice and all excellent quality.
Would highly recommend.

Just spent two lovely weeks here. Excellent service from all the team on reception, in breakfast and housekeeping. Everywhere was spotlessly clean from the room to the pool. Lots of choice at breakfast and the quality of the food was spot on.
The hotel is perfectly located just a short stroll to the harbour with all the bars and restaurants. A fantastic holiday!
Would 100% recommend this hotel.

A really lovely hotel in a great location in Bardalino.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great lots of choice and delicious pastries and cakes.
The swimming pool was lovely and the private jetty on the lake was amazing. There was a private sun bed area also by the lake. Would recommend and also return.
Huge thanks to the hotel for allowing us to keep our room whilst we incurred a huge delay to our flight home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was the best we have ever had abroad, the room was very comfortable and the location of the hotel was perfect as it faces Lake Garda. This place deserves a gold star for really adding to what was a wonderful holiday.

This was our second visit to Lake Garda but first time in Bardolino. This is a very nice, comfortable and friendly hotel. The rooms are well maintained and there was always a plentiful supply of hot water, towels etc. Their breakfasts were wonderful - we were spoilt for choice. The evening meals were good on some days and not so good on others but on the whole the choice was good - especially the salad and pasta dishes.

We had a side room facing the Hotel Gritti and Krizz International which was a reasonable size and quiet most of the time. However, on the Saturday night there was noise from a Wedding Reception taking place at the Hotel Gritti which went on past midnight. The balconies on this side of the hotel are smallish and lack shade when the sun is at its strongest - no problem if you do not have sun sensitive skin but difficult if, like me, you prefer shade. However, the rooftop sun terrace has sunbeds and umbrellas so I used these instead.

We enjoyed the bar service in the evenings rather than going into Bardolino.

Evening walks along the promenade were spoilt by the swarms of midgies/mosquitoes some evenings and you need to take insect repellent with you if you are prone to being bitten. The view of the sunset from the promenade was magnificent.

Good location – on the lake front. Has a rooftop sun terrace, together with a further area on the gravel “beach” (which we found to be pleasanter). Smallish hotel with 40+ rooms – adequate size and small balcony, air conditioned.

Friendly & efficient staff. Breakfast buffet has all the “standards” expected in European holiday hotels – pastries, fruit, cereal, cheese, ham, etc. Dinner includes a salad, four choices of starters (normally including a soup and a pasta), four main courses and three desserts. Starters and mains normally include veggie and fish options. The salad is a buffet with the remaining courses being served to you. In the Italian way, potato and vegetables with the main course are little more than a garnish. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of the food. Dinner selections have to be made at breakfast, though.

For a change, we ate out a couple of nights. Bardolino is full of restaurants – all of which seems to be of good quality and a reasonable price. They have a much wider selection of pizzas than we are used to in the UK and of a much better quality – we tried these on several lunchtimes. The centre of town is only a 10 minute stroll.

The ferry is a great way to get about and see some of the other nearby villages and small towns and would particularly recommend trips to Lazise and Garda (although both are only a hours stroll away) and Sirmione and Malcesne.

We would certainly consider staying in Bardolino again and at the Villa Letizia. It was a very relaxing 10 days. We’d also think about staying in Sirmione.
