We have just returned from a week at the hotel, and would not recommend this hotel. We choose Lake Garda as a relaxing restful peacefull break The area is fabulous with breathtaking views The hotel is awful When arriving we was given our room with a lake view When we went to our room we was horrified as the room...

Bedroom ok but could do with more drawer space and two bedside tables, not just one! Shower cubicle good but no where to put shampoo, shower gel etc! We had fresh clean towels every day and our bed was always made up when we came into our room! No hand rail on the staircase which could be dangerous! Always lovely...

We stayed for a week at the end of July, we paid extra for a superior room with a Lake view, we got a partial Lake view. Our check in was welcoming. The room was small with one wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and a small side table. The shower cubicle and hand basin were inside the main bedroom but a...

Arrived 2 July. Lovely new wing of hotel, all nicely finished. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are very good, fresh fruit, cereal, bread and pastries, ham, cheese, jams, boiled eggs. New pool small but a welcome place to relax and swim especially after sightseeing in the heat of the day (30 deg plus). Plenty of loungers. Balcony had side view...

We arrived at Hotel Maximilian around 9pm on 11th June. There aren't very many helpful recent reviews, so I'll be as clear as possible! Up until May this year, the hotel was really just a restaurant with 10 lodging rooms above. There are now 38 rooms in total, and they were still completing finishing touches on our week there. Nothing...

Room refurbished and comfortable. Restaurant is excellent, great service. Friendly staff. Good location. Good value for money. We've stayed next door in Ceasius Therme a few times which was booked up but we had no complaints about this place.

After our last place, this was the most friendly place. Most staff do not speak English even thought it stated bilingual. There is stairs to get to your room. Beds are not the greatest but did ok. I would pay the extra for the Superior rooms to have a view of lake. food was good downstairs. I would stay again!

Why we did not like the place? Well, for several reasons, that happened to us: - this is a hotel with large pizzeria on the ground floor. As soon as we came, we wanted to eat because we were tired driving from France in the past 5 hours... and we were really looking forward to eat big Italian pizza. We...

A colleague and I stopped for a quick lunch. Had two crepes, one salad to share, a bottle of mineral water and half a liter of white wine, in a carafe. The bill was Eur 40.50; guess how much we were charged for a cheap house wine from the tap? 8 Eur. Unfortunately we had no choice, as it was...
