We had a great stay in this hotel, could not fault it. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional, rooms were very clean, food was tasty and varied every night, bus to ski lift a 2 minute walk away and regular. Cosy hotel with a nice spa area, we will be back!

Hotel is very well run excellent reception, very helpful, food was excellent and the dining room staff were brilliant as were the bar staff.
Rooms were excellent and always clean and tidy with fresh towels everyday.
Ideally located for a short walk to town and almost opposite the Therme.

Centrally located and with parking this is a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean with excellent bathrooms. The restaurant was good with a more than adequate menu. The breakfast was extensive and the staff were lovely and went out of their way to help you.

Received an extremely large portion of sprouts with my meal. Cleaners will often move things around in your room and leave you wondering where things have gotten to for the majority of your holiday. However the rooms are decently sized for the price and the hotel is relatively clean. Not important but not extremely disappointed would consider visiting again if improvements where made

I have just returned after taking 50 students away on a school ski trip, staying at Hotel Sant Anton.

The hotel is worthy of its 4 star rating - food good, as were the rooms. However it was severely let down by its management.

During out stay a member of out party (student) was assaulted by another guest, who gained unlawful entry into his room! It was an unprovoked and completely irrational event (we had only been back for 5 minutes following an evening out).

The hotel did nothing to manage the situation, nor did they show any sign of sorrow, compassion or even an ounce of decency.

As staff we had to manage the entire situation as the hotel simply tried to stall, refusing to move our group to safety. They did not even speak with the guest who performed the assault!!!!!!

I cannot say strongly enough that I would not recommend this hotel to any school party. They are not capable of dealing with a group.

So disappointed with this hotel.

About 2 miles walk to the ski lift.

WiFi barely worked all week.

Staff were very unpleasant and didn’t speak any English or at least didnt let on they didn’t did. If you asked for anything you just got a mouthful of Italian of which I have guessed was abuse.

Food wasn’t great with the same dessert each night.

The table was dirty everyday from the night before.

No hot water after 6pm to shower.

Hotel Bar closed very early about 10pm every night.

1.room cleaning - it is clean but it just stinks.. the amount of chlor used to clean the bathroom is incredible..and you smell it in the room 24hrs per day...
2.there is no wifi in the rooms(available at the reception only)
3.nothing warm for breakfast is clearly offered. You need to figure out it is possible and ask at the kitchen..99% of guest is unaware of it..
4.our child couldn't really have fun in a hotel's "kindergarten" as the staff speaks Italian only...
6.yesterday at the breakfast I left my table just to grab a coffee...when I was back all the food previously taken was already gone...joke...
7. 4*hotel and tableclothe is not changed every day! You eat dinner by the dirty table...
8.Attention!!!!!!.. the hotel seems to be happy to host the groups.during our stay a group of about 40 children (about 12-14years old) stayed at the hotel..as you can imagine no way to have a rest...shouting, banging the doors etc.. when the group left, another appeared (this time about 25 about 10-12years old)...screaming..banging doors..again..of course staff doesn't care..
9.there is mould in the bathroom. see the photo.
10.the parking place by the hotel..All iced..seems no one cares (see photo)
11.when checking out I was unable to use a lift..as cleaning ladies used it for about 15 minutes to carry towels and water.so heavy suitcases had to be carried out by myself ..from the 3rd level..
12.to make a summary, for the price we paid and other really nice hotels in the neighborhood. .no way...

Good things:
Therms are just around a corner, about 30m from the hotel.
Food for a dinner was good.

Group of 64 stayed here in March 2018. Good rooms and pleasant staff. Breakfast was good, but dinner was disappointing. A lot of people ate out the second part of the week. If you're skiing it is about 15 minute walk to the Gondola, although there is free bus at certain times.

Facing the Valtellina mountains , this classic hotel at the first glance is a nice structure downtown Bormio , very close to the congress center. I experience a massage in the Spa area , they are really professional but quite expensive 75 euro for 60 minutes massage and it was discounted ! because the normal price was 99 euro. They gave us a nice room facing the mountains and the ski area , if you want that side the the hotel you should ask expressly . Breakfast is not as a 4 stars hotel should be , few things not well presented and slow to be replaced when they is a lack of them.Dinner was really poor , again for a 4 star hotel , insted of cash in on all fantastic ingredients of the Valtellina valley they proposed "Marinare rice" !!! , Valdostana steack. How can it be!!! then i should say as a final comment , for sure you could find in Bormio a better place to a cheaper price

I Giovanni Zomparelli, italian manager of travel agency VIVIGIOVANE, I would like to make a comment regards the matter. I been working many years with hotel Sant Anton taking various clients from various nationality (english, italian, german, belgium..) I always had full support and full cooperation from the hotel management. Personally I never had any complain. As I work myself with school group (english or italian) some children are very noise, slam doors, high music, obviously this could disturb private guest, but this could happen in any hotel across the world. But also there are lots schools (or majority school) well behave and they do respect to other guest. When any this matter or accident happen, in any hotels in any country I think people incharge must sitdown on a table taking around themself to find a gentleman solution. Giovanni.
