It was my daughter's tip, she had been here already a couple of times, so we trusted her and that was a smart decision. From the moment you step in, actually first we parked in the parking spaces indoor that the hotel offers for a daily fee, anyhow useful and well kept. Then you arrive at the small reception and immediately you feel that the project in terms of desig, materials and touches is special, it is so impeccably smoothly (alpine) elegant, the use of wood is generous but paired with cement and warm fabrics, it is really super emotional, when compared to the rest of the hotel offer of this area. Rooms are just confirming it, they are generous in size, modern mountain style, warm comfy with delicate touches of higher sophistication.
Small wellness area, a little too small. Amazing dining area, so beautiful that makes you forget some minor failures in an offer of food that at breakfast could be less anonymous, you have the guests for that, you should try better.
Staff great everywhere, the three ladies team in the dining room almost perfect and super attentive.
The thing we did appreciate less is the restaurant. We opted to dine one night here, but the food was anything but impressive, chaotic ensemble of tastes and some dishes served not warm. I really did not understand the idea behind that offer.
So if you don't dine here, you will not loose too much.
Hotel is a mere three minutes wlak from the center pedestrian road, overlooking the creek, perfect location ad building is also adequately soundproofed.

What a fantastic hotel. I really wanted to keep this place secret so no one else could book it but I had to share. Don’t be mistaken from the outside it looks a little quirky like flats but inside it’s just quite wonderful. The finish is superb with amazing attention to detail and the material wood and stone just exquisite. The staff are so warm and helpful especially the lovey Oana whom almost adopted my little boy and Frederica whom nothing was to much trouble and so helpful and engaging.’Two lovely and friendly ladies whom we will most definitely miss. The breakfast are superb. The fact there isn’t an evening restaurant means the hotel is super quiet sleeping. The cleaning is excellent and so efficient. The ski room is great as is the high quality under ground parking. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is top of the list. I struggle to understand why it’s only 4 star and not 5. Just 500 mtrs from the ski slopes. All rooms have a balcony and the windows are triple pane so no road noise. What a little gem this hotel is. With so many hotels to choose form in Bormeo, I would highly recommend this little piece of heaven. We will definitely be back but until then we really miss you all. Thank you for a great stay.

Fantastic hotel in a good location. The rooms are large giving you a feeling of staying in your own apartment. The staff was fantastic. The breakfast was outstanding. There is a dedicated bike room with a well apportioned with tools. There are a lot of hotel options in Bormio, this is one of the best!

What a gem. We arrived with our Motorbikes which we could securely park in the underground car park. At reception we had a warm welcome and received an upgrade to a junior suite. The room was amazing...wow what a place.

The room had everything we needed. Large bathroom with shower, dining area and an amazing bed. Super comfy 😌

Breakfasts next morning was also out of this world. Freshly preases orange juice, honey comp lots of different rolls and bread ....Best Cappuccino I had in a while. All in all 5 stars plus and I definitely want to go back

We stayed the 12/2/22 for one week and I can’t praise the hotel enough. From the moment we walked in we’re treated excellently by all staff. The hotel was so clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great and the bar area in the evening was nice. We will definitely be staying again

We stayed here for a night driving down from Liechtenstein to Como. The hotel is a gem in the heart of Bormio town which is a gem in itself on the edge of Stelvio Pass. Driving down from Switzerland, the famous Italian hospitality was palpable as soon as we checked into the hotel. Francesca was lovely and gave us pointers on where to dine etc during out stay as the hotel restaurant was under change of management. The room was superbly modern for such a rustic looking exterior of property. Minibar was well stocked and all kinds of espressos on offer. Breakfast next morning was pretty good considering the restaurant wasn't operating at full speed. All in all, we wished we had more time to explore Bormio and this wonderful little chic hotel.

Just returned from a week Skiing in Bormio. The Eden Hotel is in a great location (5 mins walk to the slopes) and an easy walk into the centre of Bormio (5 mins)

The hotel itself is a wonderful contemporary building with good sized rooms.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

However,

Our room could have been cleaner. Especially, the floor which was dusty all week. Cups were washed in the bathroom, and not always to a good standard.

Breakfast was appalling....

Trying to get a table for breakfast when the room is so small. When you manage to be seated people are literally taking plates of food over your head to squeeze past.

Many tables remained with dirty dishes/plates, long after guests had left.

The 2 gentlemen waiters were fairly pleasant but sometimes you had to ask 3 times for drinks which quite simply...never appeared.
Ordered an Omelette, that never arrived.
Asked for Cereal, asked again, 20 minutes later it appeared.

Asked if they had any more Earl Grey teabags (normally 3 teabags available on table) I received the reply, the teabags have been terminated for today. I sat with a pot of hot water on this occasion.

Staff were seen eating whilst walking between their stations, and laughing when tables desperately needed to be cleaned.

Same food each day for breakfast.

Butter was sour and clearly out of date.

Couldn't even give the breakfast service/quality of food 1 star.
It was sub standard to say the least.

As a result of the breakfast service and quality of food we declined to eat here in the evenings.

The Hotel is being let down by the Restaurant..

Sadly, when we return next year it won't be to Eden Hotel as not good value for the cost.

I LOVED this hotel....the design, the amazing staff, the fab restaurant, really awesome food, the SKY tv with all the movie channels...the Nespresso makers in the rooms...my single room #34, was a suite with a separate living room and second TV....The amazing woodwork with air tight seals on the doors, and the CLOSET DOORS, with lights inside...the bathrobes and slippers the ultra comfortable beds, with quality sheets...The amazing garage and ski and bike rooms...I Truly agree with what others have written...but the other rooms guests did not realize what that smell was in the bathrooms, it was not a plumbing issue!
AND...why I gave it one star, because you cannot give it a zero rating.

I will never stay in this beautiful hotel again as it is unhealthy!

In the showers in the bathrooms and especially in the spa steam room, they have wood inserts infested with mold....they have no clue how to clean these and are not even aware of the INTENSE smell and discomfort they create....to think of inhaling these mold spores in the steam room!
I explained to the hotels ever so helpful, charming, kind, receptionists exactly how to clean these wood inserts, as I have had, and still have exactly the same kind of wood inserts in my designer built apartments on Lake Como, 2 hours away....
You cannot use wood in a shower without a SUPER HIGH ATTENTION to what happens to the wood....and a strategy in how to keep them clean!!!

I suggest the hotel removes all of the inserts until they are bacteria free....

This hotel is such a gem, so it is with reluctance I write anything negative...but, no hotel, anywhere in the world, regardless of price, should provide mold in their rooms, or anywhere else for that matter...The spa was the last straw, to imagine vaporizing mold and breathing it in, is beyond negligent.

We had a great stay in Bormio at hotel Eden during our summer break. One week in the alps at a nice hotel with a really good and high service level. We stayed 5 persons and had nice room. The breakfast was really good and the service was super. In the basement a nice depot for the bikes. The hotel is placed close to the city center with a lot of good restaurants. Bormio is a perfect area for cycling and mountain life.

Rooms as nicer than the photos would indicate - five star quality. Spa has a hammam and sauna likewise better than what I expected from booking.com. Staff very friendly, restaurant superb. Wifi fast and reliable. Can't ask for much more.
