We came for a one night stay and the service at this hotel was excellent. The rooms were spacious and clean with all the amenities. Breakfast was delicious with a wide array of food choices. Walking distance to several restaurants and shops. We were not skiing on this trip but this was clearly a hotel enjoyed by skiers. The view out our window was spectacular.

Large selection available for an outstanding breakfast breakfast (that is, the second largest seen in my whole life experience!).
Very clean. A tad noisy (including kitchen shouting among staff having a laugh heard during breakfast each morning I was there), as rooms are not 100% soundproof, but totally bearable.

The hotel was very clean, room service was awesome. We couldn't ask for a better continental breakfast, it was like a brunch every morning! The room was spacious even with 2 bike cases in the room! The location is prefect, it's easy to park our car and it is a 2 minutes walk in the historical centre, best of both worlds. If we return back to Bormio, we will for sure return to this hotel.

I am really happy for all the people who have given this hotel with five stars, you can see that they are satisfied with little ... 135 € for a room that looks all the years it has, with the TV that doesn't work. a breakfast with packaged croissants and pieces of cake that were probably left over from the previous evening's dinner. I will definitely not give this hotel a chance to change my vote. Thanks anyway to the courteous and professional staff (I put an extra star for them).

We stayed at the hotel for a cycling holiday to ride the stelvio and gavia. The hotel was fantastic, the supreme room was clean, spacious and had all the facilities. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The cycle store was excellent. I would recommend the hotel.

Friendly staff, good breakfast and excellent service to and from the ski area via minibus. Room was clean but no tea and coffee making facilities.
Spa is very basic, just sauna and jacuzzi. Steam room not available due to covid restrictions.

First of all, the review is from a man traveling on his own for the only purpose to climb the Stelvio Pass on bike.
It is a very clean hotel, helpful staff, and good food. The last aspect isn't even worth mentioning when it comes to Italy. I've never eaten bad food in Italy. The room is clean, the bathroom is clean, but the furniture is a bit old for a 4 star hotel. Also, the room is probably a bit too small for the number of stars. The TV wasn't working in my room. Probably the cable was cut somewhere, but I didn't mention it because I couldn't care less about it. I was not there for the TV, but it might be annoying for certain people. A great hotel for cyclists because they have a safe place for the bikes. The location is also good, but then every location is good in Bormio, as it is a beautiful little town, so everything is nearby. Parking was free also, another plus. I mentioned the negative aspects too, but those are just to try to be objective. Those aspects didn't bother me personally at all because I spent very little time in the room. It would not make sense to get to such a gorgeous place and do anything else in the room but sleep. Oh yes… The Wi-Fi connection was extremely bad, very slow, and it kept disconnecting. Now that bothered me because I always need to check my email, download and upload documents, so I was a bit annoyed. But hey, after all, I was there for riding up the Stelvio Pass, not to work. I used my mobile data connection for those 2 days there, so I found a solution.

We stayed here after we drove the beautiful road from Davos via the Stelvio pass to Bormio. The hotel is within walking distance from the centre where nice restaurants can be found. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the spa and hottub which were open until 8pm. Breakfast offered all kinds of food. Our room was on the 4th floor with a very nice mountain view.

The only thing I really liked was the kindness of all the staff that I met. Everybody was very helpful and I really have nothing to say about that, just thank them. The other things were just satisfactory, but not more... Breakfast was quite OK too - together with usual breakfast stuff (cereals, brioche, cookies, cakes, some fruit, cheese and ham) there was some fresh natural yoghurt and several (!!) kinds of dark bread. Coffee could be ordered (so it was not synthetic) and that's a super big advantage.
It is definetely not 4 a stars hotel. And not even strong 3. The rooms don't look like in the photos. The first room I got (406) had a small balcony and some kind of view. But the single bed was placed next to a dirty white wall and the room smelled heavily of smoke. Anyway, the room was changed on my request, to 408, which was quite claustrophobic, with only one small velux window and winds blowing through the walls, but no smell. Perhaps because it was one of the first days of the seasonal reopening (or at least it looked like that...), the hotel was not in full power. Despite super hot heater, it was freezing cold on the first day (and that's why I think they had only started heating on that day). Second day was OK.
The decoration is dated. The wellness is OK, but also not the one I "liked". Very small for this size hotel. Fitness room is really big, but it is in the -2 floor of the unheated cellar. It was probably 15 degrees inside, maybe good for running, but not for exercising that needs warm and flexible muscles. The hotel is quite far from the slopes if you need to carry the equipment (at least 15 min walking in normal shoes).Wi-fi was working normally. Hairdyer was weird to use, it looks like it has been modified for this hotel, so you have the usual button to keep pressing, but it is not in a comfortable position.
