A beautiful holiday apartment complex, with clean, well-maintained rooms. The layout of the place has a nice vibe, and the hospitality of Paola and Luigi is very warm and welcoming. You are near to the lake, some lovely walks in the hills, and Montepulciano and Assisi are both a short drive. Chiusi itself is a very pleasant little town with... More

Lovely place, peaceful and quiet, graps the best of sunny Tuscany and Umbria full of deep shades. Located in a reasonable taxi distance from nearest train station in Chiusi (worth visiting for the traces of the Etruscan culture), but also well communicated with the A1 highway, Borgo Dolciano will give you the sense of true Italian hospitality, which we appreciated... We very much enjoyed our time at Borgo Dolciano. The host, Luigi-Paolo was very accommodating and gave us some good restaurant tips. Chiusi is a really idyllic small Tuscan town, and has not succumbed to over tourism. The property and grounds are very private, a mile or so outside of the town. The pool and gardens are beautiful, although as... More

I stayed at Borgo Dolciano with girlfriends in October. The apartment was roomy and very comfortable. Luigi was very welcoming and helpful. The property is beautiful and quiet and convenient by car to Cortona, Montepulciano and other popular hill towns. The only issue we had was finding it since it was dark and the road isn't well marked. Next time... More

In the heart of Tuscany we found this amazing Relax where you can enjoy peace, sun, forest, a beautiful swimming pool, a tasteful breakfast handmade by Paola, the house chef and you may also share philosophic chats with the great Luigi, boss of the Apparment resort. He is a lover of live and make easy any need you could have,... More

My wife, parents and I stayed at Borgo Dolciano for 4 nights in the end of May, 2014. We chose this location because it's on the border of Tuscany and Umbria, and also very close to the A1, making it fairly easy to drive to all the hill towns in both states. Not to mention it's less expensive and had... More

Our hosts Paola and Luigi were just fantastic and would do anything to make us feel welcome. After a long flight from Australia, Paola, cooked us a fantastic meal and Luigi looked after the wines and showed around on the property, a fantastic country estate. Accommodation was perfect in this beautiful estate near Chiusi. We would recommend this accommodation any... More

Just got home from a very pleasant long weekend in Southern Tuscany. It was a last minute affair and so I didn't do much research, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Borgo where I stayed for two-nights. We stayed in an apartment which was very spacious and furnished with typical rustic Italian furniture but arranged in a contemporary style... More
