The host was very friendly and helpful and our room was well designed, cosy and clean. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good for a budget hotel - it contained the usual sweet Italian selection as well as cereal, eggs, cheese and ham.

we booked the double room facing the street. it was quite and serene. the views were amazing. It is a bit far from the center of the town but we had a car. Moreover there is a walkway behind the hotel that leads to the center. Only the breakfast was a bit minimal. Not a lot of options. Other than... More

Great stay with super hosts! Impressive attention to detail. Not another ski town hotel. Umberto and family run the Al Larin with a full sense of the style and history of Cortina and the Italian Alps. Peaceful atmosphere, cozy with well designed and comfortable rooms, nice breakfast, location is great for sport or sightseeing. I'll be back with the whole... More

Great hotel just outside the centre of Cortina. We had a car so didn't have any issues travelling to the Gondolas for the skiing. There is a ski-bus stop virtually outside. The hotel is very well run with a friendly host and atmosphere. I would have no issues with recommending the Al Larin as an enjoyable place to stay.

I booked a stay at Hotel Al Larin while traveling by car in Northern Italy during late October 2015. Located in a quite neighborhood along SS 51, just north of Cortina, the town center is 15-20 minute walk away. Free parking is available outside the hotel. It is a small family run hotel and I like to support establishments like... More

tayed at the hotel for 2 days. Quite nice with fair value for money. The interior is a little old fashion but in general it is neat and clean. The owner is welcoming and average breakfast for 6 euro per perso

Hotel owner very welcoming. Room spacious, but would benefit from air conditioning in the middle of summer. About a 20-minute walk to closest restaurant, but a good way to burn of the extra calories from breakfast!

We spent just one night here while touring the Dolomites. The location is a bit of a double edged sword - lovley views and quiet but it's too far out of town to comfortably walk into town and back for an evening. Check in was friendly and efficient although the folks didn't speak a vast amount of English. Room was... More
