Beautiful place with lots of wood work and stunning scenery. All the balconies were filled with flowers. Good and friendly service and very good breakfast. Only negative is that the rooms are a bit dated, but overall a great and affordable stay.

Everything about this hotel was just fine. From the deck on our room overlooking the town of Cortina, to the great breakfast with homemade pastries made by the owner. The first place on our vacation that offered eggs with breakfast. It is a short walk into town for dinner or a drink. There is some unbelievable hiking to be had... More

A really cute little place. Good facilities, comfortable and well kept. The best part of this hotel is the location. While people may be apprehensive that it's not right in town, it really is better where it is. A 5 min walk downhill to the walking street, and just far enough away that you don't get bombarded by being in... More

We had a wonderful stay in Cortina and the location of the Columbia Hotel was great as it is just outside the town centre and the view lovely...However we would have enjoyed a nice duvet on the bed and tea/ coffee facilities in the room. The staff were friendly until we checked out and they didn't want to accept a... More

Cortina is in a bit of a valley, town is on one side and residential is on the other. The hotel is on the residential side but it's no more than a 10-15 minute walk back into the commercial parts where all the restaurants are. We walked to dinner each night no problems. The family rooms have no AC, appears... More

We stayed at Hotel Columbia at the start of a 9 day trekking holiday through the Dolomites. The hotel was perfect. Clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. Free wifi went down well with the teenagers! The breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from and they very kindly catered for my gluten free diet. The staff were very helpful with... More

It's a beautiful hotel. Amazing room. All solid pine with a good balcony view too. Breakfast was good too with a variety of cereal mini sausage scrambled eggs cold meats mini tarts. It is a short 10 to 15 minute walk to Cortina town center. Would return again.

Positive sides: very comfortable rooms, everything very clean. Things to improve: parking very small, no restaurant in the hotel (except for the breakfast), very difficult to walk from hotel to city centre because no sidewalk.

The the staff at Columia, especially Marco, are polite, professional and very helpful. The room was nice and clean, with excellent views from the balcony. Breakfast was an excellent continental buffet with a selection of cereals, cold meats, fresh eggs (you can boil your own) and pastries. I was a bit perplexed by the addition of chicken nuggets. At breakfast?... More

We had two rooms, one had a great view from the balcony and had a jacuzzi (extra cost to operate). Delicious breakfast. Free parking. Free wifi. The hotel is at a reasonable walking distance from the downtown of Cortina, although it was raining when we wanted to go so we took the car and parked in one of the parking... More
