Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very lovely B&B and highly recommend. Room was clean and sufficiently spacious. Bathroom was newly renovated so it was great. Breakfast was continental buffet style and eggs made to order. Ski bus stops right in front, but also walkable in normal shoes. Hosts were warm and very welcoming.

We had an amazing 5 nights at La Scalira for our ski holiday in Corvara. The staff were all incredibly friendly and approachable. The room was clean and made up every day and the view from the balcony was amazing - right at the base of Sassongher! We had a fantastic breakfast every day which set us up perfectly for a day of skiing. The ski bus went from right outside the B&B very regularly and it was very easy to get to the ski lifts. The value for money was great as well and was one of the cheaper places to stay in the area. Would 100% recommend staying if visiting the dolomites!

An amazing B&B run by a lovely family. They were super friendly and helpful. The premises at delightful. Very comfortable room with spotless bathroom. I loved the breakfast. Lots of choices. They also have a lovely Finish sauna. As much as the B&B was perfect, the family and staff were so friendly and helpful with recommendations for hikes etc. Absolutely recommend. We don’t want to leave.

This is a really lovely b & b. The hosts are so friendly, helpful and kind and make your stay very special. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms very clean and Tommy’s help and advice was invaluable. The sauna was a welcome retreat after a day on the slopes. We would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

We have not had the pleasure (yet) of staying at La Scalira. We were booked to stay in July/20, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, international travel is impossible for us and our hiking adventure will have to wait. We would like to express our gratitude to La Scalira and Tommy for understanding that this situation is not really in our control. The customer service that we have received through e-mail has been amazing. The compassion and kindness shown to us during these difficult times will not be overlooked. When things become better, La Scalira will be the first place we book!! Thanks again Tommy and La Scalira. We can't wait to meet you in person.

La Scalira is a very warm and friendly small hotel. It is run by a lovely family. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. It is only 7 minutes walk to the lifts (without the ski equipment, which can be stored by the lifts). Breakfast is adequate and nice. The only disadvantage is that there are no common areas to be able to relax in the afternoon as the hotel is very small. We will definitely go back!

This was a somewhat random pick for a place to stay. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. The location is perfect, just out of town but a short walk. The hotel is tastefully decorated and clean actually spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Only suggestion is to request an upper floor room. It was a bit noisy with the person walking above us.
