Although the accommodation, was basic, the room was serviced daily. Be prepared to challenge noisy guests to hush.. The turnover of tour groups seems high. The staff in all areas were generally very helpful, attentive, pleasant to interact with. Really enjoyed the food, table service .

A group of friends that regularly travel together to visit cultural sites and use decent hotels chose Hotel San Marco. After the beautiful Hotel Holiday in Bolsena Hotel san Marco was a mess. The offered rooms had a strange smell. The had not the propperness expected at that level . The most curious thing was that the breakfast for the...

we had no doubt that we would have read on this site. Now we are sorry, but we have to disappoint you by saying that this hotel, despite vs invitation and that of someone else, we really are always occupied by groups and all nationalities: German, Spanish, Austrian, British and Asian. Unless Quach exceptions that you can read below on...

Definitely NOT a 4 star Hotel at all! Photos of the Hotel make it look far more interesting/impressive that it is in fact. Rooms & bathrooms very small, very basic and no views at all, and staff need training in how to service guests. Located in main street - but not the Old City which can be walked/bus too.

I expect most visitors to this hotel are in a tour group (Travelsphere) like us and therefore have no choice of where to stay but if you do have a choice then there must be better places in Fiuggi. I dont know why tour companies use these town centre hotels. It must be hell for the coach drivers trying to...

We arrived at this hotel with Travelsphere only to find they were overbooked. Ten couples were shunted across the road to another hotel for one night. Compensation was a bottle of wine. The tour guide was extremely angry as she had not been informed by the hotel even though she had been in contact with them prior to our arrival.The...

It is a very attractive part of the town and the Hotel and room were fine. The thing that let the hotel down very badly was the evening meals. For a supposedly 4* hotel they were canteen, school dinner standard. A sea bass meal consisted of 2 small (approx. 5cm x 3cm) pieces of very dried up fish in a...

THE HOTEL... For over thirty years now, we have been engaged in offering hospitality and cordiality to our customers, with the pleasure of making them feel at ease, surrounded by a rich, harmonious atmosphere, where holidays and health meet in a mixture of revitalizing comfort. The San Marco hotel, a charming 4 star hotel, is located in the centre of Fiuggi, very near the Boniface VIII hot springs and the Anticolana Fountain, offering guests the ability to move around without their cars. The thermal town situated in the centre of Italy, is completely immersed in the greenery of a lush oasis, with a pleasant climate, with balmy hills and green mountains all around in summer, and completely covered by snow in winter (with skiing facilities). The San Marco hotel - Fiuggi is easily accessible via the A1 motorway, with the national railways and is well connected to the nearby airports; besides, it is only 60 Km away from the centre of Rome and 150 km from Naples. ... more   less
