We stayed here in August 2022, family of 4; 2 adults and 2 young teenagers.
What a great hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and even when fully booked, the hotel is pretty quiet. Located very close to the lake, bike hire shop right next door and walking distance to some fantastic resturants - although the food is pretty decent at the hotel if you decide to go full board. We just opted for bed and breakfast, which was a buffet selection of everything you would expect. Served us well every morning during our stay. Check out my other reviews for some good dinner options as the default seems to be to go to one of the many resturants along the water front, which will only lead to a dissapointingly expensive average meal.
Front of house staff are really helpful, resturant staff the same and always around to take orders (even around the pool during the day) and the cleaning staff were brilliant. The room we stayed in was a little dated but they have a new wing which is a lot more modern. That said, I wasn't dissapointed with our room at all (we had 2x rooms next to each other, a double and a twin). Bathroom and bedroom were really clean, couldn't fault them at all.
Only think lacking in our rooms was a balcony but I think that's because we booked pretty late.. only needed because it's easier to dry your towels.
Pool is brilliant, always sun beds available despite the usual early morning towel placers which as always is against the hotel rules, but find me a hotel where the staff actually rip the towels off the beds! I'd love that job...
There's a table tennis table near the pool which was great fun for me and the kids.

An email to the hotel requesting our two rooms be next to eachother (or as close as possible) saw a reply within 24 hours, again really helpful.

I will definately be returning to the hotel. The staff are a credit to the owners.

This was our fifth time at Lake Garda and our second time stopping at the Bisesti. This time we booked a junior suite which was well worth the extra money. The junior suites are in the new block of the hotel, the rooms are good size with a large balcony and beautiful bathroom. They are tastefully decorated with modern fixtures and fitting and everything feels new. They are well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff at the hotel are lovely, all friendly and helpful, always smiling and happy to share a joke. The hotel is in a great location just set back from the main road through Garda. It’s about 80m to the lake side and 100m to the bus station. There are numerous shops, bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. Although near the main road, noise is not an issue inside the hotel. Sitting by the poolside you can hear the odd emergency vehicle or noisy motorbike going past but it’s not too bad. Drink prices are no more expensive than bars in the area. Breakfast is a cold buffet with a range of cold meats and cheeses, yogurt, fruit etc. and LOTS of pastries and cakes. Evening meals are table service. There are three courses with three options for each course (plus a self service salad bar). Portion sizes are not huge but we always came away feeling satisfied and the food was always tasty. Although officially a 3* hotel (and consequently very comparatively priced), I would happily rate the junior suites 4*. We really like this hotel and will undoubtedly stop there again next time we visit.

We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at the Bisesti. It is very well positioned for the lake front, old town and bus terminal. Although other reviews had mentioned that it was about 10 mins. walk to ferry terminal we found it to be considerably longer than this and as my husband has some walking difficulties it limited the amount of times we used the ferry. Still, we enjoyed trips to the lovely Sirmione and breathtaking Riva. We took the fast ferry to Riva but bus back as we would not have got back to Garda until about 6.30 or 7 and then long walk back to Hotel. Still we enjoyed bus trip.
The hotel is spotlessly clean as was our room. While we weren’t in the renovated part our room was very adequate and spacious with plenty of storage and quiet AIrcon. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had paid extra for a balcony room which while quite a bit extra we felt was a necessity. However the balcony door wouldn’t close properly - faulty mechanism? and we had to ask reception to send someone up to close it. Even they had difficulty.
Food was good and we enjoyed the breakfast and found the salad starter and 3 courses for dinner very adequate.
Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. WIFI throughout the hotel and grounds was excellent.
We also enjoyed the very pleasant and clean pool area. Sun-beds and chairs were plentiful.
All in all a nice fairly priced hotel.

Very happy with our stay at this hotel. The hotel is just off the main road and about 3 mins walk from the lake front and bus station. All staff were professional, friendly and helpful. There was plenty of variety at the breakfast buffet and foods were regularly replenished. There was a coffee machine but you could also request coffees at the bar. We were glad we had booked a double room with balcony as the rooms are on the small size, the bathroom looked like it had been recently refurbished was very clean and modern. There was also a safe and fridge in the room but no kettle. The pool area is lovely with lots of sun beds available.

We came here for a week, was a lovely stay. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean inside and out. We enjoyed the selection of all the food. We stayed in a junior suite room which is of good size and has plenty of amenities for everyone
The cleaners done a good job and were very prompt everyday to clean and tidy our room. The hotel itself looked very modern and fresh. It was a pleasure to stay here. We may stay here again if we go back to Lake Garda

Just got back from a lovely week at the Hotel Bisesti. Wonderful hotel with friendly and professional staff. Hotel is positioned five minutes walk from main bus station. From here you can catch cheap buses to most places up the side of the lake and to Verona. It is also only a short walk to the main area of Garda and the Lake.

We stayed in a standard room with no Balcony. Although we knew that this was the case when we booked, in hindsight we would not have done so. Having no Balcony means that there is no where to dry your towels, swimming costumes etc. Bed was lovely and hard but only one very flat pillow each was provided. However a quick request to Reception soon rectified this. The bathroom was clean and functional. The hairdryer was very slow! No tea making facilities provided in this room. Be aware that the plug sockets take a three pin L type plug not a standard two pin E.U one. This is something that I wish we had known before we went.

You are allocated a table for your entire stay and choose your evening meal at breakfast. Breakfast was good with a large variety on offer. The evening meals were okay and my husband who is vegetarian usually found something to eat. My only slight critisim is that on the nights that he chose to have the pasta as his main course ( here they have pasta as a first course) they could have provided a larger portion. The salad bar and desserts were both good.

The pool was clean and a lovely place to escape from the hot sun. We never struggled to get a sunbed around it. We also hired electric bikes through reception one day and they were very reasonable. Evening entertainment two nights during the week
but it would have nice to have had more of this.

On the whole though, this Hotel ticked a lot of the boxes and it is somewhere that we will return to.

Simply amazing!! 5 minutes left or right out of the hotel you are at the lake and the local bus station (drop off & pick up point) All the staff very friendly and professional. Breakfast has a great selection and food during the day at the pool excellent. Air conditioning great and rooms cleaned daily. Plenty of excellent places to eat and drink, the side streets are best for authentic Italian cuisine and the locals eat and very welcoming. The trip of the whole lake is well worth the money, booked through Jet2 rep, who was at the hotel a few days a week.

A perfectly placed hotel to explore Lake Garda a short walk to ferry and lots of restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They pride themselves on their green credentials and the air con in the room will only go to 22 degrees this was a bit uncomfortable for us in the heat so would not want to stay there in the height of summer. The bus station is very close and a day trip to Verona is easy and cheap and certainly worthwhile. Breakfast was ok but that was about it.

Family run hotel absolutely amazing! My partner and I stayed for one week and wished we’d stayed two. We stayed in a comfort room with balcony which was spotless and fully equipped with all you’d require. The staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help you. Restaurant exceptional with wonderful food for breakfast and evening meal, also liked the fact we were given our own table on arrival and evening meals served to us.
Pool area spotless and plenty of sun loungers if you decided to have a pool day instead of out exploring Lake Garda. Ideal location for everything the lake has to offer.
Will definitely recommend and we will certainly return, many thanks to all at the Bisesti Hotel for the wonderful stay we had.

Just spent 7 nights at this lovely hotel we had a suite which was perfect, Betty kept the room immaculate each day always leaving fresh towels etc.
The hotel is just lovely , staff are wonderful especially the young lady that’s working in the restaurant/bar area during the day she was to polite and spoke beautiful English to us each day we loved a little chat with her.
The hotel is literally a 2 min walk to the lake and town ctre where we enjoyed some lovely walks out, pool are is great though beware of the sun beds as we saw a them collapse on a few people one man cut his arm!
All in all we had a perfect holiday and will definitely be returning.

We ate the first night there, it was soupy spaggeti, never ate there again. Every night, ate along the waterfront. At least 50 restaurants in the area. All the ones we tried had excellent food. This was in Sept 2023.

Hi! The furnishings of the two room types are identical but comfort rooms are bigger than the standard rooms, have tea and coffee making facilites and the television is 32" instead of 24" of the standard rooms.
