Just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. Perfectly situated on the side of the baby slopes at Pila. For more advanced skiers you can use the magic carpet, or just walk a few yards across the piste to ski down to the Chamole lift. The food was fantastic. Very Italian, with a great starter buffet, followed by a...

I had skied here previously but stayed in the town. I much preferred staying within the ski area. There is much that I agree with in the previous review which was the same week that my party visited. Rooms were warm, clean and cosy with plenty of hanging space and drawers for clothing with pegs for hanging ski clothing. We...

There are only a few hotels in Pila and this one seems to be a popular choice. Suits couples, not much happening for youngsters. Cozy rooms all with balcony and ensuite shower( very tiny cubicle ) lots of good towels, plenty of hot water. We had an exploding light shade in the bathroom and got showered in glass(think too high...

Stayed here again for New Years 16/17. Hotel is warm and very clean and tidy. David and his staff work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. The food is good with plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. Complimentary wine and water with dinner a nice touch. Nice warm boot room with cages for your skis and boots with...

Charming hotel in small ski resort of Pila. Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. Food is great, selection of salad, pasta and meat dishes as well as dessert every evening. Bottle of wine on table at dinner too. Pila is a small ski resort with immaculate pistes, perfect for beginners and intermediate skiers.

I will try to write an objective review but I have to mention that whilst we were there the hotel had booked in 28 12/13 year olds and their staff from the England Schools Ski Squad which did have an impact on our stay, especially as we had chosen this week to avoid any school holidays. We were given a...

The Hotel Chalet Des Alpes offers an ideal location for a family skiing holiday, with a ski in and ski out location. David and his staff make you feel extremely welcome and met our every request with a smile. The food was an excellent standard, with lots of choice and the antipasti buffet was to die for every night! Breakfast...

Just back from Ski trip. Hotel very clean, staff quite friendly but food was really really bad. Couldn't believe anyone could make Italian food taste so bland. Shower was really small and room really stuffy and too hot, control had a mind of its own. Would not recommend staying hear unless prepared to eat out every evening. WiFi in the...

Spent 4 days/nights in this hotel on half board B+B+dinner. The breakfast was good with a good buffet but dinner was appalling, the only decent thing was the antipasti buffet, both first and second courses were usually awuful, poorly cooked and poor quality. All the main courses included meet, no vegetarian option, not even chicken or fish and when asked...

Just returned from a week staying here for the new year 15/16, David and his staff made our stay very enjoyable, Food was very good and plentiful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room overlooked the homeward bound slope and was very clean tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Good boot room with access directly onto...
