I've stayed at this place several times and always go back because of the level of service. The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice, the location is a bit out of the way, but well worth it. The owner/manager is involved in litterally EVERY facet of this operation. You can tell he takes his business and reputation seriously. The...

The owner is unique and the hotel is just like him. He is responsible for anything, from checking in and out, to making coffee and taking orders for the hotel restaurant. He is just perfect at everything! And don't hesitate to ask anything, he is always willing to help. The hotel is not new, but it's not old at all....

I love this hotel, this place. The management and their waitstaff are wonderful. We filled the place, demanding much attention, and they handled it with gentle style, always a wonderful dinner, always a kind conversation while attending to business. Perfect marriage of tradition and comfort. Lots of ways to walk out in the morning, and diverse sights and smells on...

This Hotel is managed by a very nice family, who even take care of the little things. The rooms are very clean and everything is working good. The food is very traditional homemade and characteristic for this region. The service is compared to the price very high leveled. Everybody takes care of you. Thanks a lot for the nice stay

Staff very friendly in this family run hotel. Do not expect to loose weight here, you get more food then you bargained for and very good quality, simply a unique experience compared to hotel chains. Hopefully I'll return to try the other beers!

I see so many comments from locals trying to rate the hotel as if they had booked a 5 star hotel in Rome and didn't like that no one was around to baby sit their children. Come on. This is a 3 star hotel, priced as such. The rooms though look better than many 4 star hotels I have stayed...

This is a nice hotel in a good location with very attentive staff! The hotel is located in the Fucino plain. When you have a car, this is a good location for exploring the Abruzzo national park, Sirente-Velino regional park and the area around Sulmona without the need of changing hotel. The rooms are spacious, have airconditioning and have a...

I love staying at this hotel when on business in the area. Franco is such a friendly person. He is always around when you need him. The rooms are beautiful, clean with a modern bathroom and have fabulous views of the surrounding landscape which seems gorgeous in any weather. The cocks crowing in the early morning and the birds singing...

“All rooms have been renovated in the last 5 to 10 years. Modern facilities in the bedrooms and bathrooms. I like the rooms with view of the old lake Fucino. If working at night and sleeping days the rooms facing the hills behind the hotel can he quieter. The double pane window and doors cut down the outside noise completely though.”
