All rooms have a view, and most look out over the sea. Rooms are comfortable and clean and well fitted out. The real selling point of this hotel are the lovely staff for whom nothing is too much trouble.

Had a week here as part of a package walking holiday. The hotel is nicely situated, with its own sea frontage, and only a few minutes walk from the main shopping and harbour area. Our room was fairly standard, with a small balcony facing the sea, for which we paid extra. The room was clean. The bathroom had plenty of...

This was the fifth time in six years we have stayed at the Hotel Rocce Azzurre in Lipari. The staff, Ariana and Carmelo foremost, are completely charming; nothing for them would appear to be too much trouble. If the pleasure of one's stay can be measured in the smiles of all those around you, then the Rocce Azzure is rich...

Everything about the Hotel is amazing: The views, cleanliness, service, and food had all reached near-perfection. From the moment we got on the Island, we were greeted by one of the hotel's staff who helped us move our luggage and drive us to the hotel down some very narrow streets. All the staff in the hotel were very welcoming and...

This small, family run hotel is stunningly located right by the sea and is scrupulously clean. The rooms are fine although it would be a shame not to have a sea view. It is well worth booking half board as the food is great and you can always choose to have lunch instead of dinner. The owners and staff are...

From the moment we were picked up at Lipari harbour by Angelo in the Piaggio van, we felt welcomed. Staff are helpful and friendly and speak good English. Our room on the 3rd floor was simply furnished and immaculately clean. Bathroom small but functional. But the real reason we wanted to stay at this hotel was its position and the...

The Rocce Azzure is a small, comfortable, quiet hotel in an out-of the way place. The food was wonderful. You are away from the crowds near the docks, but all of Lipari is within walking distance. The staff was polite and attentive.

Having had years of activity holidays we were looking for a relaxing one where we would be cosseted without ostentation. We found it here in Lipari. A Suite overlooking the sea-not expensive-simple but good food and super friendly staff. Only drawback was getting there. Air,Land and Sea journeys involved but on reflection the end result was well worth it
