Having just returned from this hotel I have to say that that I will not return to it for the following reasons, The hotel owners were not very friendly and barely acknowledged us during the week we were there. The dining room has a set daily evening meal plan that cannot be changed. There are NO children's menu options. I... More

I stayed here as part of a group travelling with Crystal. The location is good. Handy to bus to Mottolino side, not too long to walk to the other side. The hotel is really clean; the staff work very hard to ensure this. The rooms are small and basic, but I've stayed in smaller rooms. Good storage, lots of sockets,... More

Hotel Alaska is in a perfect location! The Mottolino side of the mountains can be reached by a short walk across the field, and the Carosello 3000 by a short walk to the lifts. The hotel is also right next to the pedestrian street and various entertainment venues, such as Miky’s Pub which is across the street. The rooms are... More

We stayed in hotel Alaska in middle of March 2014. Company of 8 persons. Bright side of staying there was the Hotel location, it's located in city centrum, and it's 5 minutes walk to mottolino ski lift, and about 3 minutes to first lift in Carosello slopes, Walking ready to go with full skiing equipment. Also restaurant meals was tasty... More

.My friend and I came to the hotel, to find out that our room is too small to occupy us both. The sloping ceiling wouldn't allow us to stand in the shower, and beside our bed. When we came to the reception in order to change the room, the lady was very rude, and even though there were plenty of... More

This is a family-run, fairly basic hotel but very welcoming and in a great location. Reception and check-out were both fine and you are given a door entry code if you plan to be out after 12; which is pretty likely in Livigno. The town is very lively at night but the hotel is slightly set back so very quiet... More

Stayed at Hotel Alaska ten nights to first Saturday in January on first trip to skiing destination. Read reviews prior to visit and had some reservations.....all unfounded!!! Thoroughly enjoyed stay and experience reflected positives recorded in existing reviews. Will concede that allocated room was small but of no real concern to a couple intent on skiing themselves to a standstill!! Wonderful... More

So, I do agree that rooms are extremely small - and if by accident you are 3 person family, so you need almost learn climbing walls.... But all other things - are excellent - very pleasant and helpfull stuff, excellent location (close to both mountain slopes - Motollino and Carusselo, no need to drive anywhere, all areas can be reached... A party of 10 went to the resort on ski trip, 6 of us stayed in the Alaska hotel, 4single guys and one couple. The rooms are very basic, but very clean and warm, enough storge space, etc. We had a proper double bed which was a added bonus, as generally its 2 singles joined together. The family running the... We stayed in the Alaska hotel for one week. It is a nice accommodating hotel. Rooms and public areas are clean. The room we got was very small, but well maintained. It is located in the center of town, near everything and just by the bus station. If you want to go on foot to the slopes it will take... More
