Well situated for visiting inland and coastal Suffolk, The Auberge offers comfortable and well appointed rooms for a good night's rest along with a great restaurant serving super meals. Breakfast is cooked to order and after a day's sightseeing, dinner at The Auberge provides the perfect way to relax and unwind. A family run business, the friendly welcome at The...

Periodically we visit the Auberge for a meal and unfailingly the meals are of excellent quality, freshly made to your specific requirement. I fully recommend this friendly restaurant for a very good meal. There are other facilities which we did not partake of but seem very worthwhile investigating. Plenty of parking and very quiet regardless of the proximity to the...

Lovely spacious rooms with powerful shower in the bathroom. Very quiet considering being right next to the A140. Staff all lovely - friendly and helpful. Food also nice but definitely a treat rather than a regular dinner!

My fiancé booked us a night at the Auberge for my birthday. We were given room number 7, which is a disabled room (we are not disabled) on the ground floor. The room was huge, with a king size bed, plasma tv and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was a wet room, with plenty of room, I imagine,to be able to...

The Auberge was quaint old pub with rooms to stay if required. It was rather dark,we were the only guests which was a shame,so lacked atmosphere. The drinks were served as good as a top London hotel the wine was superb. The lady who served us was lovely but had to go and keep asking the chef simple questions, example is fish on or...

Fantastic little family run restaurant serving locally sourced foods. The cheese soufflé starter was fantastic and well worth the 20min wait. All the food is freshly prepared and beautifully served. The owners treat you like friends coming for dinner!! Don't expect big platefuls but we came away having had enough to eat.

I spent the night here on business. I had dinner at the restaurant and would highly recommend the steak! The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. I had to leave early for work so they even arranged for me to have breakfast earlier than they started serving it.

This was our first visit to The Auberge, staying in the area and celebrating a house purchase. We had such a warm greeting and were shown to a fantastically comfortable room, more of a suite really. Really comfy bed and huge shower. We were on the DBB package and enjoyed one of the best meals we've had in recent memory,...

Stayed her for a couple of nights in late February. It's on the road between Ipswich and Norwich; basically in the middle of nowhere. Very nice rooms butbthebreal surprise was in the quality of food. It was exceptional as was the quality of service. I don't know why you would ever find yourself around here but if you do make...

Thank you Tommytomkins for your kind review. We're glad you enjoyed dinner... and had the Crépes Suzzetes (one of my favourites) for dessert as it was Shrove Tuesday! We would love to welcome you and Mrs TT again in the future to try our tasting menu! Thank you again, The Auberge
