You will find this extraordinary place at the very bottom of a road between Sorente and Amalfi. Literally on the sea, it is the only restaurant of this amazing bay to be built on a large pontoon. The accommodation is familial and extremely clean. Nothing fancy really but all rooms have large terraces with an amazing view on the beach....

This review is for the beach club part of the property only. BEST EURO we spent in Italy. We took the ferry from Sorrento and hiked our way over the mountain to happen upon this beach spot. We rented chairs and towels and spent a few hours there until we had to catch the ferry back. It was PERFECT. The...

We chose this small hotel because it has a little rocky beach, It's a 2 hours' ride from Naples airport on very narrow mountain road; you have to be a really experienced driver to reach the destination back and forth. People at the hotel are members of a very hard working family and their main pride is the restaurant. So...

This place lived up to the hype. We so enjoyed being ferried across to the restaurant and sipping our pre-lunch wines as we gazed out to sea. The Amalfi is beautiful - the food served here as worthy rival. Particular praise for the tomato salad, made from their own farm-grown tomatoes and slathered in a deliciously tart dressing, and the...

After a few days in Posiatano we decided that we needed a change of location so we hired a boat for the twelve of us for the afternoon for 45 min journey up towards Sorrento to a beach restaurant. The boat (water taxi was excellent and not too expensive 500 euros for the afternoon return trip.) You can go by...

This restaurant is on a long dock over the water of the Marina del Cantone. The pebble beach is on each side with boats floating and the hills surrounding in the back. The vista is incredible. The interior is very nice and the seating is arranged for the best views. The food is delicious and presented well. Service was good,...

Lunch or dinner at Lo Scoglio has been fashionable for many years and has become even more so recently. The location is beautiful, at the very end of the cute little harbor of Nerano. The food is mediocre, including the fresh vegetables and the pasta with such one they seem to be known for. I have been here twice during...

Wonderful owners of otahuna lodge in NZL, recommended the water taxi ride to this restaurant located on a pier, and what a delightful way to travel especially those of us whom do not own a jet boat out of 'miami vice' or ask for the service of the lo scoglio outboard to moor a super yatch up. 180 euro from...

I took the SITA bus to Marina del Cantone on a whim little expecting to have one of the most memorable meals of my long life. I had arrived early and watched the fishing boats bring in their daily catch..I watched as one fisherman brought buckets of clams, mussels and fish to this open air restaurant on a pier jutting...

There's nothing like spending the day cruising the magnificent waters of the Amalfi Coast and boating up to lunch at this beautiful spot, only to eat one of the best meals you will ever have. The clams are a must!!! I will remember their sweet deliciousness for as long as I live! Also order the medley of fresh vegetables which...
