You will find this extraordinary place at the very bottom of a road between Sorente and Amalfi. Literally on the sea, it is the only restaurant of this amazing bay to be built on a large pontoon. The accommodation is familial and extremely clean. Nothing fancy really but all rooms have large terraces with an amazing view on the beach....

This review is for the beach club part of the property only. BEST EURO we spent in Italy. We took the ferry from Sorrento and hiked our way over the mountain to happen upon this beach spot. We chose this small hotel because it has a little rocky beach, It's a 2 hours' ride from Naples airport on very narrow mountain road; you have to be a really experienced driver to reach the destination back and forth. This place lived up to the hype. We so enjoyed being ferried across to the restaurant and sipping our pre-lunch wines as we gazed out to sea. The Amalfi is beautiful - the food served here as worthy rival. After a few days in Posiatano we decided that we needed a change of location so we hired a boat for the twelve of us for the afternoon for 45 min journey up towards Sorrento to a beach restaurant.
