Comfortable bedrooms very close to the airport. Although one have to take a bus to Venice for a 15 min trip, compensates, without doubt, the price difference for a hotel in the city. The card for the Vaporetto (30 EUR for 2 days) is also valid for the bus. The hotel also has a

If you are coming to Venice this hotel is well situated being only a few minutes from the Airport and a short bus ride to Venice central. They offer a shuttle service to and from the airport you just have to call them when you have got your bags. The bus tickets are very cheap

This is a classic business hotel - great clean beds, rooms and bathroom, but that's about it. For the money, it represents very good value. The breakfast was average as far as Italian buffet breakfasts go - range was a little below average and quality similar. Service was mixed

Hi, we were here for only 1 night due to a re-booked flight. It's hard to go anywhere from this hotel, unless you have a car (or travel by bus/taxi). They have a good restaurant that is on the site; but you should ask the locals for a recommendation - that is the best way to find a restaurant that would suit the occasion. My opinion of the hotel in my list of reviews. Happy Anniversary!

You would need to ask the front desk. They might be able to help you out in price if the shuttle isn't packed. But I imagine the price is the same for all as a child still takes up a seat.

Yes, there are several ways to get to the canal and touristy area of Venice from the Hotel. A: The hotel offered a van/shuttle service when I was there in June. I believe the charge is 5Euro/person. Keep in mind the van will drop you off at P.Le Roma, which is the "parking lot" where the bus depot is. Many busses and taxis use this parking lot. From P.Le Roma, you have to walk over the pedestrian bridge with stairs to get to the famous canal area of Venice. Walk across the pedestrian bridge and continue for about 100 meters (yards) and you will be directly in front of Santa Lucia train station, in front of the train station are the vaparetto water taxis to take you around Venice...or you can walk the maze of canals, but of course it will take longer. If you don't want to pay. B. The front desk sells bus tickets that are approximately 1,30 Euro each way, which is a lot less than the bus. If you choose this option, purchase your tickets at the desk. Exit the hotel's front entrance and turn left. Continue to the next street where the stoplight is, cross the street and turn left on via Paseo Campalto. That's the best way I can describe it to make certain you're on the correct side of the street to take the #5 or #9 bus in the correct direction. If I remember correctly, it took about 20 minutes. My only "complaint" with the bus is that the my mum and I returned after dark, the bus driver doesn't announce the stops and it is dark. Therefore, you have to really pay attention to your surroundings. As a seasoned traveller to more than 30 countries, I didn't mind and am accustomed to doing this. However, my mum in her 60's who had never left North America before would have struggled without my assistance. In closing, there is a shuttle provided by the hotel for 5Euro/person or the bus which is cheaper. If you want to take the hotel shuttle I recommend taking a business card of the hotel and therefore you have the number to call to come get you when you're ready. Sorry to have written a novel, but I wanted to make you clear of the options. Enjoy Venice! Jennifer
